Do we know who hired and paid him? The news said he had been to Iraq, came home and then went back. Expensive trips for a guy out of work.

I haven't read through this whole thread yet so maybe this is redundant... but this reminds me of 9-11 when some of the terrorist hijackers didn't know that they were on the way to die until it was too late.

The thing that really blew me away today as I was watching Fox his father came out and said; THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. HE WAS A FRIEND OF THE AL QUADA. Then the news reporter came on and said he meant to say he was a friend of the Iraqi's.

I don't think that is what he meant to say at all. He didn't even stutter or back track and then try to say I, I mean Iraqi's.

If you look at the image of Berg's body on the bridge, it is dressed in civilian clothing. Would his killers have re-dressed him to be dumped on a bridge after cutting off his head?

Just curious, here is an article about ANSWER with a quote from 'Michael Berg' as a retired teacher, but from South Carolina. Is this the same Michael Berg with the home state wrong? Is there another one?
