May 13, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - Shocking shots of sexcapades involving Pfc. Lynndie England were among the hundreds of X-rated photos and videos from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal shown to lawmakers in a top-secret Capitol conference room yesterday.
"She was having sex with numerous partners. It appeared to be consensual," said a lawmaker who saw the photos.

Did Lynndie's Dad play the banjo in Deliverance?Or did he work in the Clinton White House? He could have been Clinton. The numerous partner thing is something you're more likely to find in Hollywood or with democrat politicians than a trailer park. It seems liberals admire it quite a bit if it's someone with money doing it.

Sorry, but I'm having a hard time imagining that US soldiers having sexual "abuse" with each other and filming it is anything less than silly.
Hey, they're 19 years old, away from home, hot and bored.
Doesn't make it okay, but doesn't seem that big a threat to me.
It offended Iraqi hard core prisoners. BFD. At least, everybody kept their heads.

"hard labor in Leavenworth"
no; discipline, but NOT hard labor; the work was related to industrial skills, such as shoe repair, baking cakes, etc. I heard recently that the DB (Disciplinary Barracks, as it is/was called) has changed, but don't know details.

The paper here in Fayetteville says "it is unclear who the father is".

I read that her hubby guardsman is married and has two children. But what the heck is another small complication to liberals.

Hey, this is almost as bad as the Oval Office during Bill "I never had sex with that woman" Clinton's term in office.

"I wonder how many of the senators viewing this evidence also viewed the rape evidence against Slick during the impeachment trial.." My thoughts exactly!
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who also characterized the photos as "disgusting," agreed, noting, "It's hard to believe that this actually is taking place in a military facility."
It was harder to believe what was "taking place" in the Oval Office when these Dems were saying character didn't matter, that it was personal and private and had no bearing on the ability to hold office. Now we've discovered similar lack of character during wartime among American soldiers guarding prisoners, some of whom had as soon to cut off your head as look at you, and they are shocked and disgusted at evidences of sexual immorality. Too bad there weren't pictures of United States Senators Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd making a "sex sandwich" with a waitress under the restaurant table, or too many other incidences to mention here involving members of that august body. I think these soldiers who have abused their positions to indulge their perversions should be disciplined, but the transparent hypocrisy of these Democrat leaders is disgusting. They have certainly led by example. It's a crying shame they don't receive the same discipline.

Standby folks, before this is over, the party that sees nothing wrong with the C-in-C having sex in the oval office or using his POSITION of POWER to seduce women throughout the country and yes, RAPE, will have YOU convinced (with enabling from the media/press) that what these smack offs did is;
(a) Representative of our TROOPS
(b) The direct responsibility of the SECDEF and the POTUS
(c) That what happened in that prison is at least as bad as Eric Berg's decapitation if not WORSE!
It will be systematically inculcated into our national psyche until most of the nation will agree.

I could tell she was lying by her posture and demeanor. This story isn't gonna hold up. It's already starting to fall apart. The senators who expressed so much outrage over this are going to have egg all over their face.

Filming themselves having sex seems to be quite the rage here in America in some quarters..sharing it is porno...They were not doing the administration any favors or the soldiers and marines fighting and dying while they had prisoners jerking off and pointing and filming. I do not give them one break for the pictures..not one.
The ones who enabled or encouraged it I feel the same about...They hurt the ones fighting and dying..no discipline, no excuse.I care nothing about humiliating the prisoners..I care about the harm done to our mission.

"Liberals are using this incident as proof that the U.S. doesn't belong in Iraq. How is it any different for you to use it as proof that women don't belong in the military? Women do not have a monopoly on war crimes."
War crime????
Please.
Do you deny that when women are with men, especially isolated for long periods of time and in stressful situations, that there is a high degree of sexual tension which is not present when all actors are hetero men? The argument against women in combat roles and gays in the military has been all along about BREAKDOWN OF DISCIPLINE. What a coinky-dink.

He is - he beat his ex-wife, and was fired from a prison guard job in the US for beating the prisoners.

Not to be picky, but these characters are Army Reserve, NOT National Guard

How can anyone in Congress be shocked? The last Commander in Chief of these soldiers set the example by masturbating into his aides' sinks, by being fellated while discussing troop deployment and by sodomizing a young intern with a cigar. They were merely following in the footsteps of their superior. It's in the past. Let's move on.

I don't think women belong in combat, or in "coed" prisons. It's just asking for trouble. The purpose of putting women in the service in these siuations is paying dividends for the America hating socialists who pushed this agenda during the Clinton years..
The first thing Clinton did as president was to allow homosexuals to stay in the military. Also GI Jane was pioneered and now we are paying the price.
What the army wants are heterosexual males in their late teens and early twenties who are in god physical shape.
There is a reason the armed services never wanted gays and women near front line combat. There is enough of a problem fighting a war without these other distractions. - Tom
