BRAVO!!! As horrific as Berg's beheading was, it was an incomprehensible PR error by our enemies. It will NEUTER the leftist propaganda about the prisoner "torture." Torture my ASS! Rush was ABSOLUTELY correct: this stuff goes on in U.S. fraternities/social clubs/sports teams ALL the time. Just do a google search or search any newspaper or search website. I wish to clarify that my criticism of the President has nothing to do with the vile attacks rained on him by traitors who wish our country harm (rhymes with Democrats). I’m critical because the sacrifices you and your buddies made are demeaned by inaction when action is called for. While my service was in peacetime I trained as hard as possible because the knowledge of what you and yours went through constantly hounded me. I forced myself to watch the video of that boy being murdered for the very reasons you state. I almost wish I hadn't. It was unbearable and hurt me deeply. That could have been any one of us. Do you think if Sean Penn had been kidnapped while he was in Iraq, and then decapitated in front of a camera for all the world to see, the stupid and evil libs might finally get it? Unfortunately for that to happen disaster is going to have to hit home again. And again and again and again. Oh, I pray it doesn't come to that.

I'm not "angry" with you at all and I actually pity you in your presumption that I'm angry at you. I'm just wondering why it took you so long to take such a stance against the media when for years you've known the actions of the media. To finally speak out now, in the manner in which you have, seems a little...I can't even think of the proper word right now so I'll be nice and just leave it blank!
I rarely get truly angry at anyone here and you really wouldn't want me to get angy with you in words as I can be rather abrasive with the written word if I mean to be.

To those who read my posts, it should be quite obvious that I have been angry at the media since 1998. There are numerous posts here where I have dissected New York Times articles, advocated boycotting certain programs, expressed my contempt for various media "stars" such as Chris Matthews, Peter Jennings, and Dan Rather.

I have cancelled my local paper, bought stock in Fox News and purchased a ton of conservative books.

What I have NOT done is lose my innate civility, having been brought up with courtesy as something to be desired. That is what has changed. I no longer feel the need to be polite to those who traffick in the destruction of this country under the guise of news and entertainment.

So, go right ahead and pity me if you wish. Makes no difference to me. I stand on my posts here, which anyone is free to look up. I don't think you are quite as familiar with my opinions as you think.

You're confusing "condoning" with "disagreement". I simply don't consider what was seen in those pictures as being torture, whereas you do.
Our real disagreement is that what I saw was simply humiliation whereas you see it as torture.
