You carry some weight here Miss Marple, and you know you do, so I don't want to sound like a jerk, a bully or an ass, believe me, but you've been as much an ostrich with it's head in the sand as any number of others. I almost feel embarrassed for you for being able to make such a declaration only after today's events. What more is it going to take to get more to take a POV like yours?
Why does it take so long and why does it take something so drastic to get Americans to change their minds about all of this.
There have been people trying for years to get the people here at FR to wake up and smell the roses and you're just now deciding that you're done with being nice?

The following was done in sadness...I'm too afraid of what I'd write in my anger, which is only just now starting...

How many of us, in retrospect, would concede to the actions taken against the "detainees" if just one of them could've given the location where that young man was being held at to prevent his murder?
Today is another day that will live in infamy.

While I agree that the terrs who murdered Berg are the absolute lowest that human genes can produce, Phil, that STILL doesn't excuse the guards or their officers for their actions. As I have been saying all along, we are better than they.

Once again, the prisoners at the jail were in posession of NO vital intelligence; wondering "what if?" is just an exercise in hypotheticals.

Once again, this was NOT the reason that the guards violated their orders or Geneva.

They did so for their own sick amusement, much as the Dims did by exploiting the scandal in the medias.
