I attended the Second Amendment Sisters SAFER rally yesterday, and also checked out the "Million" Moron Mom rally. They had about 2000 people, we had about 200.
Enjoy the photos and check out Kristinn's after-action report thread here:
Second Amendment Sisters SAFER Rally, After Action Report 5/09/04
The "Million Mom March"
Ahh, irony. The "American Sheep" shirt with the "FOLLOW" slogan... the Kerry for President sticker... make special note of this "gun free" sticker.
A friend of mine hoping for a happy September.
Let's hope this is one promise the President WON'T keep!
This guy gave me a free "Million Mom March" video and a bunch of free water. Misguided as he was, he was a pretty nice guy.
The mindset of your typical "Million Mom", just like their idol, Adolf Hitler.
Your humble correspondent, trying to fit in. I figured if I was going to blend in with the crowd, I'd better turn my "Heckler & Koch" shirt inside-out, put a MMM button on, and defuse my pro-2nd Amendment hat with a "stop the nra.com" sticker
The same lady as before, without her jacket. Where do I get an oozie?
The SAFER Rally
A guy with a sense of humor
No, this guy is not Oleg Volk
Shemane Nugent, wife of rocker Ted Nugent and co-author of cookbook "Kill It And Grill It"
The beautiful Shemane Nugent was gracious enough to pose for some photos
Dr. John R. Lott, Jr., author of "The Bias Against Guns" and "More Guns, Less Crime"
The lovely and talented Miss New Mexico Junior Teen, Sarah Rouse. A very intelligent, attractive, pro-gun young lady.
Free Republic's own Kristinn, from the DC Chapter
Some friends and I get a shot with Sarah Rouse. She had Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars on under the dress!

I think you need to host the pictures on a faster site than the 56k modem that it is currently being hosted off of.

You know something? I think that the 'Washington Protest March' is so overused, that it doesn't mean anything anymore. Anytime a Republican is in office, there will be a swarm of moonbats outside the White House every weekend.
They always seem to be there. You can ignore whatever their signs say. We already know where they stand on things. They ought to just drop the pretense and have a single pattern 'We Hate Republicans- because they ...um, hate people' sign that is just sort of perpetually available at kiosks around the Mall. You give the vendor a $5.00 deposit, get your sign, have your little party across from the White House, and go get your deposit back. (The deposit is to keep the ever so ecologically-concious lefties from throwing their signs everywhere).
I avoid the District like the plague on weekends. I'll only go there if there are friends from out of town who want to see the place.

They had about 2000 people, we had about 200I saw one report that claimed they had at least 20,000. I assumed it was a lie.

"This is not Oleg Volk"
WOW, I hadn't heard that name in a long time...does he post here?
I used to converse regularly on the now defunct "The Firing Line" with him.
Memories.
TFL, the first BBS I ever subscribed to '97 or so, I wonder how.....what's his name, I cant remember, he started TFL, is doing? I sold him my hi-cap sig P229 magazine.
I wonder if "DC" from TFL is a freeper?
TFL is how I found FR, back in the 90's, wow.
