[history]
Students at a Maryland high school known for its environmental activism have encountered several setbacks in starting up a young Republicans' club at the school.
Five students at Sparrows Point High School in northern Baltimore County say school administrators and teachers have intentionally delayed their efforts to form a Teenage Republican Club because they don't want to have a conservative club at a liberal school.

One more example why collectivists shouldn't be involved with schools.

Brown shirts can't handle it when opposing views that make sense threaten their indoctrination program.

"Mr. SantaCroce said Monday he misunderstood the students' request.
"A teacher approached me on their behalf during a class change, and I thought he was representing parents rather than students," Mr. SantaCroce said. "I said it was out of the question to even discuss it."
Yeah, I really believe that. This guy talks out of both sides of his mouth. One one hand, he says a teacher approached him on the students' behalf. On the other hand, he says he thought the teacher was representing parents.
This guy sounds like he's either a liar or stupid. Maybe both.

I remember seeing some College Republican flyers hanging on the walls at my college. They advertised a meeting to help re-elect President Bush. By the end of the day someone had ripped down and stompt on most of them.
