Captain Larry Bailey, a former SEAL and Vietnam veteran, is heading up an effort to put 100,000 people in front of the U.S. Capitol on September 12 for an event intended to "tell the truth about Vietnam veterans, and to counter the lies John Kerry told about them." B.G. "Jug" Burkett, author of the myth-shattering book Stolen Valor, will be one of the speakers.

The cover is a insult to Iwo Jima vets,
then it gets worse towards Viet Nam vets.
I was there the same time Hanoi Kerry was.
I served on a Destroyer which supplied PBR's
and gave gunfire support in North AND South Viet Nam.
My ship may have even supplied Hanoi Kerry's boat.
I VOW I will do everything I LEGALLY can
to keep this traitor from being elected.
I owe it to those who gave their all.

Hey Tonk. Thanks for the ping. BTW, I got my John Kerry bumper stickers in the mail today. About a month ago, I posted a thread asking FReepers to order one, in order to waste Kerry's money on postage.
My cats love to play with their new "sticky" toy. I used the other one to remove the cat hair and fuzzballs off my BDUs.
