I'll break out the single-malt for this Scottish Verdict.

My husband wants to know if Pat Toomey is the ex-football player by that name.

Mega-BUMP! That would be an outstanding turn of events.

Hopefully, Specter will go down so he can return to Scotland to finish his legal studies at leisure.

I liked Toomey's campaign manager's statement this week where he said "If the election were held now it would be close. Next week, we're going to win." LOL. I really want to see the end of Arlen's career before he chairs Judiciary. GoToomeyGo....

Specter is pond scum. Any Republican that encourages liberal and union voters to vote for him in the primary needs to be booted out of office by a Shaq-size sneaker.
And I don't want to hear any talk about saving the precious GOP Senate "majority", how's it's standard policy for the President to support incumbents, or how Specter is still better than a Dim. He's not - he's a rambling old bag who needs to be put out to pasture.

Even if Toomey loses, he will have done Conservatism a Great Thing, by getting Specter off of the Judiciary Commitee just in time.
I am looking forward to Jon Kyl holding that gavel.

GO TOOMEY!...GOOD LUCK!
I hope this serves to remind the other RINOs, who vote w/ Liberals against GWB...just who helped them get nominated/elected them to their posts...no more Jim "Turdcoat" Jeffords.

The Republican primary is the right time to have this contest. After the primary, all Republicans should unite behind the nominee.</p>
To: Veritas_est
"Specter has resorted to desperate tactics by encouraging liberal Democrat union members to register to vote as Republicans promising that they can immediately return to the Democrat Party."
That says it all.
Maybe Tom Kean can get Specter a job at Drew University.
GO TOOMEY!!!!

I'll vote in November for whichever candidate wins the primary, Specter or Toomey, Toomey or Specter. I always pull the Republican lever.
