April 7, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - President Bush yesterday visited Arkansas to promote his new job-training program, while John Kerry charged that Bush's jobs record is a loser.

Speaking in El Dorado, Bush said he will boost the federal job-training program from 200,000 to 400,000, and vowed to make science and math a bigger requirement in vocational schools.

Well, son of a gun! I'd seen that picture in one of the articles, but didn't notice that the shot still showed a pair of flip-flops! (Thanks!)

Perhaps we should adopt them as our anti-Kerry slogan/logo. Just like the "SORE LOSERMAN" logo of the election protests. BTW, who did that one, it was brilliant.

Kerry thinks Ohioans are stupid.
We blame our LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS for our current anti-business economy - WE DON'T DESIRE, NOR DO WE EXPECT THE PRESIDENT TO MAGICALLY FEDERALIZE THE ENTIRE WORKFORCE IN OUR FAVOR.

His "jobs" thing isn't selling here - steel and auto have been dying long before Bush was put in to office, and everyone knows it.

In the bizzaro world of liberalism, its okay to fake throwing your medals away, loudly protest an administration you disagree with, attend meetings where the assasination of Senators is openly discussed....but its "rude" to protest a candidate giving a stump speech?

And the Democrats to this day wonder why they are in a shrinking minority politically......

I'm here in the Cincinnati viewing area, and not a word was said about the protests against Kerry by any local media outlet.

Then again, they never mentioned the HUNDREDS of people that lined the streets leading to Stan Chesley's home here in Cincinnati whenever the Impeached One and his wife showed up to pick up cash contributions, or support what ended up being failed candidates for local office (Roxanne Qualls was soundly defeated by Steve Chabot in one notable race in 1998).

I live here and wouldn't have know without the internet.

I own a business here in Ohio, and I blame Taft for most of the problems associated with the state economy.

Just got the notice two days ago, courtesy of Bob "Tax Em" Taft my satellite bill will now include a 6% surcharge.

All because Bobby Taft didn't cut the budget when lack of funds indicated that must be done.

I'll never vote for anyone named Taft, or Voinovich, or DeWine again. EVER!

To be fair, I've seen this report on other websites as well.

But you won't hear it from Kit Andrews at Channel 12, let alone leftwingnut Channel's 5 and 9.

Now I know what to do with my old flip-flops!!

You'd better hold them tight...the DUmmies were bragging yesterday about snatching them out of people's hands. I haven't seen any reports here so I don't know if it's true...you know how they lie!

That was Registered a freeper around here sometimes though I haven't seen his posts in awhile. Especially since he did that one picture with Jane Fonda and Kerry that got so much publicity recently.

No kidding! Aren't they strange creatures?

Liberals wear t-shirts featuring the portrait of Che Guevara, the violent commie gunslinger, to peace rallies.

Liberal movie stars take out full-page vanity editorials in the nation's largest newspapers to complain about how their voices are being silenced.

Liberals march at rallies organized by communist front-groups, paint swastikas all over the President's picture (leftists have probably put more swastikas on posterboard than the Nazis ever did) -- and then complain when people question their patriotism.

Liberals will argue till their blue in the face that ours is an accidental universe, that knowledge is a chimera, and that to assert the existence of any sort of transcendent moral meaning is dangerous folly -- then they'll turn right around and lecture you about "social justice", a term and a concept so loaded with implicit moral gnosis that it practically sags under its own weight!

Exactly!
We know who the crooks are.
Taft is the reason we quit donating to the state Republican party. That and his joke conceal carry law.

I think you can sum up the viewpoint of liberals rather easily.

They are children that refuse to grow up....and when confronted by the reality of this fact, they throw temper tantrums.

Thereby reinforcing the view they are children that refuse to grow up.

Taft is a liar of the worst sort. I"ve never joined a political party, being a lifelong registered Independent since my first vote in 1976 - more against Carter than for Ford.

With the exception of voting for Perot as a protest vote against Bush the Elder for raising my taxes, I've always voted GOP for President. Locally, I vote for the person I trust the most, and that crosses party lines with regularity.

But nationally, I'm one of those people the Democratic Party "hates" with a passion normally reserved for child killers.

The flip-flop criticism is REALLY getting under their skin.

I'll give you a hint about how to tell if you're getting to the DNS (Democratic National Socialists). If they try to pin the same criticism on Bush, then you know you've struck a nerve.

Their claim is that Bush flip flopped on nation building. The problem with their claim is that their calendars are strangely missing the number 11 in September of 2001.
