A Fit Kerry Dogged by Medical Questions
The Washington Post ^ | March 29, 2004 | Jim VandeHei

ST. LOUIS, March 28 -- Sen. John F. Kerry, by most measures an unusually fit 60-year-old, has spent key parts of his presidential campaign battling ailments ranging from prostate cancer to a stubborn cough and cold.

Kerry frequently complains to reporters of a stiff right shoulder or allergies that leave his voice raspy and sore. For much of this year, Kerry has curtailed speaking and sipped hot lemon tea to nurse a voice strained by hacking and yakking. In mid-February, he described the ailment to reporters as a "chest thing" and griped about its persistence.

On Wednesday, Kerry will undergo elective shoulder surgery for a slight tear, marking the second time the Democratic candidate has missed time on the hustings for an operation. In 2003, shortly after announcing his campaign, Kerry had his prostate removed to cure early-stage cancer. This week, he will be in Boston for at least four days.

Prostate removed. Sore shoulder. Persistent cough. Chest pain. Does this sound like a fit man? Kerry needs a doctor, now!

Let's have Dean work on him.

Or maybe Dr. Frist. Frist practiced on cats and should be familar with the inner workings of the more aloof, manipulative, and arrogant qualities that manifest themselves in Kerry.

Or maybe Dr. Dean could prescribe a good, loud, long public "Yearrrrggghh!" as the cure for Kerry's sore throat.

He should have chest x-rays now- lung cancer? I know that prostate cancer spreads primarily to the bone marrow, but does anyone know how often it spreads to the lungs?
Tsongas said he was healthy, but he died 2-3 years after running.

Sen. John F. Kerry, by most measures an unusually fit 60-year-old,

Didn't GHWB parachute dive out of a plane just a week or so ago? At age 80!!!

Wasn't their an 84 year old lady who swam the English channel a few years ago?

Is this why we get all the obviously-staged-photo-op media pix of Kerry on a police motorcycle, on skiboard, on hockey skating rink, buying a jockeystrap?

Kerry had his prostate removed to cure early-stage cancer.

What is early-stage cancer??? Was it benign or cancerous??? Cancer is cancer and nobody is out of the woods for 10 years? Time to see the records!

Pray for W and The Truth

I wonder how long the wait is for prostate-ectomies and arthoscopic shoulder surgeries in countries, like Canada and Frants, already blessed with the sort of socialized medicine programmes favored by Kerry.

"Kerry is the most athletic, most vigorous guy in the race," said David Wade, his spokesman.

Not only would Bush run this wuss into the ground, Bush doesn't look like a sissy when he throws a ball.

It sounds as though Hillary's spells and potions are having their desired effect on J F'n K. The Secret Service is supposed to be protecting him. BUT I guess there is only, so much that mere mortals can do, against her dark powers.

Don't forget, the liberal "press" does not report news.
They send messages.

If the WP ran this, it's because the DNC wanted it run.
They are sending a message to the Democratic masses.

This headline looks very much like prep for easing JfK
out of the nomination.

They are also sending a message to Kerry: "we'll give
you a medical deferment if you want" (but you may a goner
regardless).

I think we all need to pray for the good health and continued strength of John Kerry. Are you all following my reasoning on this?? Please, God. Please, God. Whatever is wrong with John Kerry's lungs, let it not be serious enough to knock him out of the race.
