In Fact, S. 1290 Was Not Aimed At Any Specific Part Of Intelligence Budget. The entire provision in the bill reads, “Reduce the Intelligence budget by $300 million in each of fiscal years 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000.” (S. 1290, Introduced 9/29/95)
Kerry’s 1994 Proposal To Cut $1 Billion – Which He Introduced Twice – Similarly Gutted All Aspects Of Intelligence Budget. Kerry proposed a bill cutting $1 billion from the budgets of the National Foreign Intelligence Program and from Tactical Intelligence, and freezing their budgets. Today on Brit Hume, they showed a tape of Kerry talking 'off camera', so he thought!! He was telling a group of supporters, "We've got to keep pounding them, pounding them. They are the most crooked, lying group of people I've ever seen."!!
Later in the show he talked about Kerry's 10th crewmate on 'boat 44'. The crewmate is someone with the last name of Gardener. Mr. Gardener has no liking for Kerry and said that "Kerry just wanted to save his 'lily white' ass".
They also brought up the Fonda-Kerry picture on the show, mentioning that 'that person has his own web site'.
So Senator flip-flop show be able to provide examples of VOTES he made to boost HUMIT resources, right? I won't hold my breath.
Does anyone know how Effing voted on the Torricelli ammendment that said we couldn't recruit HUMINT assets that had traffic tickets?
