Nonetheless, Aristide comment's go even further to have the new leaders look favorably upon the U.S. military. Either way, it is a win-win
Win #1, The US drove Aristide out of power
Win #2, the US talked some short-term good sense into his head, and assured him safe travel to a new haven.
I'd say if he wants to go back, get a Higgins boat and drop him off in shallow water ala MacArthur's return to the Phillipines
Or we could do it like they did it at Normandy.

National (Socialist) Public Radio was still repeating the lies at the top of the last hour. Obviously, its whole staff is blind and deaf and did not hear Rummy's denials at his press conference much earlier in the day.
I'll close this reply with the usual sentence "My tax dollars go to finance NPR, the leftist propaganda arm of the DNC".
