I always hate myself in the morning after abusing the forum this way, so I did a preemptive self-zot. I tried that once, but the doctor said it gives me a rash. Besides, you'll go blind and get hair on your palms.

You probably don't think of Ralph Nader as a violent person. But he has been
ignored by the major media, accused of stealing votes from the Democrats, denied a
part in the Presidential Debates, even denied access to the debates despite holding
a ticket (and threatened with arrest if he did not leave).
So you know he's gotta be pissed.

Year before last, at the Annual Washington Press Corp Dinner FREEP, we spotted Ralph Nadar crossing the street toward our side. We started hollering Ralphie! Ralphie! He heard us and beamed.
However, that is a very wide street, and most people have to stand in an island in the middle of the intersection, waiting for another green light. When we began to yell "Thank you Ralph! Thank you Ralph!" he realized what we were all about, and his grin turned to stone as he patiently waited to finish crossing and get out of there!!
Fun incident for us ----not for him!! LOL!
I hope he runs. He has true convictions, and the Dems are not his friends.

Those conservatives who are excited about Nader running may need to think a few things through. For one thing, he'll probably bring a lot of disaffected liberals to the polls who would otherwise stay home. That would reduce Bush's overall percentage without necessarily cutting very hard into Kerry's vote tally. If Bush wins despite a majority voting for Kerry or Nader, he will be left with no mandate, and the media will not stop reminding everyone of that. No conservative mandate will mean continued runaway spending, tax cuts expiring right on schedule, more social spending and regulatory madness "to take issues away from the Democrats", and possibly a reduction or loss of the Republican majority in Congress in 2006. And if Nader garners enough support to gain a seat in the debates, the problem will get even worse.
Just a few things to keep in mind.
