Time out!

They took toy guns onto school property!?!

Kids are getting suspended for point fingers and saying bang and these kids are walking into school with toy guns!?!

Someone needs to break out the zero tolerance policy on these teachers and show them the door. If they told kids to bring in toy guns, they violated Federal Law.

Ah yes, let's raise an entire generation of swishy little poofters.

Boys who would rather kiss another boy than touch a firearm.

Disgusting. Creepy.

You would deny the world its next generation of theater critics and Liza Menelli fans? Plus, from the article, it sounds like these kids will be able to solicit buttsex in at least 2 different languages ... /s

Besides, if "professional educators" weren't busy creating the next generation of mind-numbed socialist drones, who would be?

I wonder how I managed to reach 34

LoL! Me too! (except it's 44:)

War was always the favorite game of our neighborhood.

Making wooden guns that shot strips of inner tubes, grenades of HUGE Texas pine cones......and taking headers into bar ditches to see who could 'die' the most realistically!

(sigh)

Those were the days.

Homeschool bump.....as I hear my son making machine gun sound effects in the back ground.

Our sons are "taught" to feel guilty and ashamed for their love of weaponry. You couldn't pry my son's guns from his hands for anything. If you were successful (after an intense struggle), he would just go out into the woods, find a gun looking stick and make another one. He came out of the womb making things into weapons. I think his first words were "Pow, pow..".

Ah, yes, the pine cones. Nature's hand grenades ! lol. We also drew M-16 silhouettes on planks we had scooped up somewhere, and then we sawed the planks so we could have our own assault rifles...

Whew, looks like France and Texas just MISSED mass extinction when we were kids, no ? lol

(5) GUN-FREE ZONE SIGNS.--Federal, State, and local authorities are encouraged to cause signs to be posted around school zones giving warning of prohibition of the possession of firearms in a school zone.

Technically this school did not violate the statute since they were toys and not "firearms", but many kids have been suspended or otherwise punished for toy guns, using their fingers as guns, and in one horribly violent case, using a chicken finger as a gun. (Luckily it didn't have "teacher killer" barbeque sauce on it, or it would have been an "assault chicken finger".)

The fact that the zero-tolerance groups cannot read or comprehend the laws should not allow them to get away with encouraging kids to bring toy "firearms" to school. After all, someone might have felt "threatened" or "offended", and that's much worse than anything in a public school (unless you are a Christian, then you are the threat and offense).

Government schools, under the control of the lunatic left - have already destroyed large segments of a couple of generations..

Until the educrates are held to a stringent set of "standards" and prevented from teaching their prejudices and perversions ---- parents should really consider private schools or home schooling..

Beyond that, simply consider the unarmed/untrained households as larders and warehouses -- when the SHTF.

Darwin in practice -- selective survival behavior and conduct being demonstrated.

France and Texas just MISSED mass extinction when we were kids, no ?

ROFL! I think your right!

The earlier FReeper remarks about the 'wussification' of our children is correct as well.

Playing as a child meant I was constantly bumped, bruised and bleeding.

We always just "Sucked it up" and went on.

Now children are taught by the schools not only to fear pain, but to fear the objects that can cause pain as well.

( Checked out your home page...and now I have Coke on my keyboard :)

Locals need to stand up to these POS turdburgler socialist when they don't practice that which they force on others. Make em swim in their own pool of shit'n shineola for a while !

How does the *whatever_list thing work? I've been here long enough that I should know, but I must admit to being derelict in my duty to pay attention to some things.

My daughter bought an archery set last year. Now *all* the neighborhood urchins have one...target practice in the Tiggywinkle yard. There are rules though...those things can be dangerous! :o)

I'm dying for one of those, but I doubt we could play with them in our yard. I'll have to see. We were trying to talk Jo into going to camp with his sister this summer and what finally convinced him was the archery. LOL Not even a trip to Disney would convince him, but when he found out about the archery....well, now, that's a whole different ball game.

(They go to Disney one day).
