Ah yes. Brainwash them early. That's how we do it.

Another reason to home school.

Bang!

I remember my uzi water pistol w/ detachable "magazine" and cap gun six-shooters.

Even the eighties were sane compared to today.

Oh, I dunno.

Could we get little Palestinian kids to do it?

THEY could USE a little "conditioning"!

"Personally, I think it's a great idea," Jones said at his store on South Main Street. "There are too many kids that think guns are toys."

They're no more ignorant than liberals that think toys are guns.

Well....our only hope is that same bubbling government that can't teach kids to read and write also will will fail to brainwash them.

"There are too many kids that think guns are toys."

Do kids actually believe that toy guns are toys?

Kids have great imaginations. I used to play 'war' with my friends, and when we ran out of the plastic guns, a stick, a doll, even the index finger served the exact same purpose. It provided something to point as you screamed "Bang, Bang .... I got you" which was followed by "No you didn't .... you missed".

They can have my kid's toy gun when they pry it from his warm, sticky fingers

You don't need to be that way.

I think there's a huge difference between American kids playing with GI Joe, and Palestinian kids pretending to be homicide bombers.

I'd much rather see the Palestinian kids playing with soccer balls, but their parents glorify the other way.

I don't know if kids today can distinguish the two (real vs. fake) but I could.

Damn, I wonder how I managed to reach 34. We played with toy guns, we made wooden swords to fight with (and smashed a respectable number of thumbs), we played with fireworks without parental supervision, we played with toy soldiers and reenacted WWII battles, and even now I'm still an avid wargamer, storming beaches through China to California.

According to these guys, I should have died or turned deranged serial killer a looooooooong time ago.

I used to baby-sit for a healthy little boy whose mommy was an ann arbor peace-nik.

Toy guns were not allowed. The more she objected, the more he wanted them. He could gnaw a piece of toast to look like a revolver.

She about pitched a fit one hot summer day when I

gave him a bucket of water aand a squirt gun to play with.....

This is so silly.

I remember arguing with some silly little hippie chick back some years ago, and she dropped the old "You can't hug children with nuclear arms!" canard on me.

To which I replied "maybe not, but ya can't kill commies with "Care Bears"...

Of course, I got my first real gun when I was 12... go figger.

Hmmm..., maybe this is why the Alisal HS basketball team ended up 3-7 in league play. Teach them early to be docile....

We had friends growing up whose parents would not let them play with guns. Their little boy would use his sister's Barbie dolls as pistols and play cowboys and Indians in the woods behind the house.

Nothing like coercing them to be pacifists - starting in kindergarten. After 12 years of indoctrination like this imagine trying to recruit them for a legitimate war to defend this country - LOL. Instead they'll lay down in front of tanks like the idiot did in Israel. What a mess ... .
