More on Kerry's "war."

I worked with a guy at Morgan Stanley who had two Silver Stars and two Bronze Stars with all sorts of clusters. Also, a Purple Heart for serious wounds on his last mission. His silvers were earned in two missions just months apart.

Like all true heros he would not talk about how he won his medals. All I know is that he was in the Special Forces and had pictures of his comrades in arms on his wall.

Kerry strikes me as a blowhard who came back from Vietnam too soon and had too much political clout. His medals also seem to me to be pretty "fishy."

Does anybody know wat his family background really is? Does he have any senators or D.C. power players in his family tree?

His family knew the Kennedy family. There are photo's of him on Pres. Kennedy's boat. His family was rich.

I was in the 540th GS (Qhuin Hon) for 14 months(68-69). I don't have 15 Purple Hearts or 5 Silver Stars.

I have one Bronze Star and I'm damn proud of it.

Medals to Kerry are useful props.
