We’re going to need a thread II as this one is starting to slow the site down. Also, on the new thread, please stop posting the name and pictures of the person you think the woman may be. The evidence doesn’t support the claim and we don’t need to be doing that. Wait for it to come out. It will. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076893/posts

Update 2:
CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.
MORE
A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!
In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]
The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
Update 3 FROM CONRESSIONAL QUARTERLY'S CRAIG CRAWFORD: 'Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is something Chris Lehane (clark press secy) has shopped around for a long time -- it was one reason the Gore vetters in 2000 shied away from Kerry as a running mate choice -- their conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to disqualify him, except for the fact that they couldn't risk it as they were trying so hard to distance themselves from Clinton's personal failings (note: Lehane worked for Gore at the time -- and briefly advised Kerry during this campaign). The Kerry camp has long expected to deal with this, and have assured party leaders they can handle it'...

Oh my, I feel six years younger. Yes, it feels just like those wonderful, heady* days of 1998. I sure hope she's really, really cute this time, so the press will run pictures 10 times an hour rather than 5 times an hour. Ha! Maybe we'll be treated to Ketchup Boy wagging his finger and denying everything.
Democrat scandals and threads that just sing...
These are a few of my favorite things.

I went over to DU. Almost every post was vile rants at Drudge and posts about it not being true. Yeah, it's a smear job, that's the ticket!

Ok, let's now fast-forward to Edwards.
Isn't it true that he's such a shady lawyer that ambulances chase HIM?

The media still has time to crucify Kerry, and we can have two changes of leads, as Edwards takes the big states. Nah, that won't happen. Looks like either Kerry, or a brokered convention. Most likely, it'll be Kerry, who will lose, but not a blowout like Goldwater or McGovern.16 posted on 02/10/2004 7:15:35 PM EST by Cboldt

Let's get real here. A homemade porn tape of Kerry having a three-way with Jane Fonda and Ossama bin Laden could turn up and most Democrats wouldn't care; neither would the mainstream media. Those Kool-aid drinkers only care that Kerry's initials aren't GWB. Nothing else matters to them. This will blow over and leave Kerry untouched.Right. But the Kool-aid drinkers aren't his problem. Only about 40% of voters are Dims and 40% are 'Pubs, the fight is over the 20% or so in the middle who are too stupid to realize they shouldn't vote for the Dims! This is who it will affect.

But then, the Senate has rules against the kind of language she is fond of using... Has someone told Kerry about them?

Getting a little personal here but if Kerry had prostrate cancer a year ago and had his prostrate removed, Well, I have heard that unless maybe you use Viagra or Cieras it is a little difficult to humm! you know what. Not always. If the doctor did a"nerve sparing" procedure and it worked, then the patient could continue to do "you know what".:-)

Anyone who wants to see this on Drudge's site for themselves had best get there in the next four minutes! If Rush starts with this, Drudge will get slammed.

If he quickly admits it, makes a tearful public apology, and Teresa publicly accepts the apology, embraces him and calls on America to stand with him . . . ? That may have worked with the Clintons in 1992, but from what I'm reading this Kerry affair may be way too recent for that kind of thing.

Yep...and I don't think America wants to go through this crap all over again. If true, Kerry is cooked. Thet don't want another Clinton in the WH. I agree. The country was worn out from the Clintons, and they don't want another Clinton-lite or anyone associated with that era.
I think this is good for Edwards and Dean.
Don't count out Dean yet. If this pisses the Dems off, he's the man to take up the cudgel.
And he'll pound the hell out of Kerry over this.
