The Mystic River star was in South America, promoting the flick, when he was asked about the heat hes been taking for speaking out against the increasingly unpopular war in Iraq.
When Penn was asked if he considered himself to be a patriot, he replied, according to our source and translator, I am more patriotic than this president we have, who I consider a traitor of human and American principles.

Not only is he is stupid, he's also illiterate.
But then, what do you expect from a media wh#re who thinks its possible to "insult" another media wh#re like "Madonna".

Penn is a psychoneurotic crackpot. It shouldn't surprise us that he speaks like one.

Didn't Sean Penn play one of the leads in "The Snowman and the Falcon"? Yes he did.
But he wasn't acting.

Real patriots never say "I'm more a patriot than so and so!" It just shows how shallow these Hollywood types are, I wish the mullahs get their hands on these thugs and their family and put them into strict theocratic rulings. Will see what kind of punishment these un-holywood types will suffer in the hands of the mullahs. People like Penn has no real education and should be banned from making public comments. Being a celebrity doesn't mean he is smart, in fact, I bet a perfect inverse correlation between IQ and the bad mouths. At least Jody Foster don't yak like these guys, maybe because she has a real Ph.D.
lol.

You know, the first thought I had when I saw Sean Penn enjoying a personalized tour of Iraq, shooting scenes of how great Saddam is was "Man, that Penn character sure is a patriot".LOL!

"speaking out against the increasingly unpopular war in Iraq."
Increasingly unpopular with MSNBC who never really liked the idea anyway.
Like most mainstream media sources, they disapprove of America using violance to rid society of third world dictators, because, by definition, America is ALWAYS wrong in ANY confrontation with these people.
Two hundred years ago they would have supported paying bribes to the Bashaw of Tripoli for captured American sailors and ships instead of - horrors!!- actually blasting the vermin to back to Allah where they belonged.

"Dear Sean,
I invite you to name three principles that you consider "American" and tell how you adhere to them more fully than President Bush. (This should be fun...)"
Micheal Moore
Jeanine Garafalo
Barbara Streisand
He could tell us how he adhered to Madonna, but I really don't want to have to dissinfect this computer any more than I have already done this morning.

Sean Penn's career peaked with "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".
Sean Penn is a simpleton. Everytime he opens his mouth, it's a positive for those he's attempting to discredit.

What he really said was, "I am a bigger @sshole than Michael Moore, and boy is that a lot of @sshole"! My bad?
