The system is not going to monitor the coordinates of 6 billion people plus their pets and livestock and vehicles.. Well, let's assume that I'm not really concerned about pets, livestock, anyone over the age of 18 or outside the US.
Does that make it any more manageable?

but to abandon your faith because of the actions (or inactions) of a bunch of human beings seems a little short-sighted Faith is instilled in people by bunches of human beings.
That is true for Moslems, Jews, Protestants, Buddists, Catholics, ... and etc.
Is there any one from that list that qualifies "Perfect" in the religious philosophy department?
Is there any one that is unflawed?
Is there any one that doesn't change tenets of faith to accomodate things like the earth not being the center of the universe?

Not to mention wildlife. The kids will be competing for bandwidth with other interests. Probably those who would go for the tracker chips would already be keeping close watch on their charges anyway. There might be a market for radio collars, though, but again, those families would already be diligent in their watchfulness. How anyone can be so trusting of the general public these days is a mystery. Even making sure the kid actually gets on the schoolbus is beyond some people.

This breaks my heart. I have an 11-year-old in the 6th grade. If anything like this were to happen to her, dear God in Heaven, I don't know how I would cope.

Who was the judge that let this creep free to abduct and kill a child? (I am assuming it was in the Sarasota area.) Would that be Pinellas County?

he should run ads with Carla's photo asking John Kerry why he opposes the death penalty for animals who kill children. That's all W will have to do to win Florida by at least 20 points in November. I would rather see Bush lose the election than to try to profit from this child's death in doing so? People are smart enough that they do not need specific examples.

My husband and I have been convinced of this all along. He looked too cool, calm and collected when he walked up and stole Carlie. Especially for a druggie! Druggies can fool people. They keep their habit hidden. This man has no conscious, no moral compass. Look at his long history of crime and deception.
And still he was married with 3 kids. It boggles the mind.

I blame this Smith and want him to suffer merciously. I blame our Judges and I blame the lawyers, both scum. I also blame our elected officials Congress and the Senate for not enforcing our laws. They all seem more interested in their own needs and greeds. Most are afaid to say anything important as not to offend someone and cost them important votes, most seem to be spineless windbags in time of crisis. I blame the Liberals for saying things like "Poor Mr. Smith has had a troubled life and is sick. Screw that! a trial will cost millions but a good rope is only .18 cents a foot.

Probation official Joe Papy said Circuit Judge Harry Rapkin declined to find Smith in violation, which could have returned Smith to jail
I think Florida should fire up old sparky for Smith and strap Judge Rapkin on his lap.

Sarasota County. And Judge Harry Rapkin is getting raked over the coals on local radio down here. And nationwide, O'Reilly has promised to out this liberal looney on tv tonight.

They're not running this picture any more...they are using the earlier, more innocent picture.
She was tarted up to look 18-20 years old. She was fully made up, and played on her development (5 feet, 120 pounds)with tight, form-fitting clothes. Look at the security camera. That is NOT what an 11-year-old should look like.
She was 11 years old.
I am not EVER saying that women ASK for it. I am simply saying that her mother had no sense or control over what her daughter looked like. And she didn't even pick up her daughter after a slumber party.

"I am simply saying that her mother had no sense or control over what her daughter looked like. And she didn't even pick up her daughter after a slumber party."
Walking home at 6pm, used to be safe in America. Now that the liberals are in control of the courts,a mother is deemed "lacking sense" for letting her 6th grade daughter walk home from a slumber party at 6pm in the evening! Maybe our court system should do their job instead of making excuses for people who would hurt others.
And people wonder why American children are getting fat? It isn't safe to walk, ride, skate, or play outside.
To: Sweet Hour of Prayer
I agree SO much!!! I used to leave in the morning on my bike...ride 5-10 miles...and come back when the sun was going down.
I just think it's naive these days for mothers to allow that, especially through closed commercial districts.

All I can say is your thoughts on this day stun me almost as much as the sad news of an 11 year old child's death and the unspeakable grief of a mother.

Would you believe I went to law school with Smith's PD? Same class & we were on Law Review together. He's a smart guy. Unfortunately.
