We have to let anyone in. I am a sinner just as the man who killed this girl is a sinner. All are sins against my Savior, and He died for all of our sins. Once you sin, not matter how trivial, He carried that burden for you just the same as the sin of a murderer.

I'll stay over in the Jewish section. We don't let murderers and rapists and the like into our area of paradise. ;^)

The tongue kills far more than the sword.

A high school journalism teacher used to tell this story of an yearbook team. There was a guy in a wheelchair in another school. That school's yearbook came out, and there was a picture of this handicapped guy with the caption "The 100-meter winner looks out a window" or something like that. That very evening, the handicapped guy committed suicide.

I've said many nasty things. I better hope that God is indeed as merciful as in post #316.

I disagree. I don't applaud addicts and dopers. I don't send flowers when they say 'I am clean now, and I have grown'. I applaud people who never did drugs. Who don't have to excuse their druggie behavior. Those who don't need a bunch of attaboys because they are finally doing the right thing.

There is not any point in time when a druggie is doping up that he thinks it's the right and honorable thing to do.

Who was the cretins lawyer for that aquittal?

The defense atty for the kidnapping acquittal was CJ Czaia, who ran unsuccessfully for FL Senate in 2002.

Then you would not be allowed into heaven.

Romans 3
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

And if you do not follow the Jewish tenants exactly, you will fall short in that faith also.

The Nightstalker and a Melendez brother were married while in prison --- so as far as a wife being any kind of judge --- I think many women are just that desperate to be married. The neighbors might be cocaine addicts themselves and so didn't think his being in prison for multiple drug offenses was any big deal. Once someone kidnaps, they should never be freed.

My 16 year old asked if FL has the death penalty.

The last time I entered a Catholic church was the day I heard the responsorial prayers calling for an end to the death penalty.

(no, he'll lie down on a gurney and be put to sleep, as if he were having dental surgery.)

Am I the only one who finds this method particularly offensive?

I know the bleeding heart murderer lovers wanted this because anything less is "inhumane" and "cruel and unusual punishment", but then neither is what happened to this girl.

I have posted links to uncensored crime scene photos in other places, asking the aforementioned to point out to me the humanity in what was done to the people in those pictures. NOT ONE of them ever responded.

The police may already have set the murderer free. An FBI agent just said on TV that 'the suspect will be punished to the full extent of the law.' Doesn't this mean the police have already declared him guilty? I hear thw ACLU rushing down now to defend the killer...

Since you "Jews" nailed him to a cross I can see why you'd prefer to believe you're going to some Jewish Paradise (Miami Beach??) when you're probably well on your way to a much, much hotter eternity!

Wow! You crossed from Christianity right on into Wahabbist Islam in one single post!

Yeap, once you recognize the burden that Christ carried on that Cross, for you; and accept Him as your Savior. What burdens He saw while hanging up there. Amazing that He would do that for me.

County/city jail prisoners may deal out their own creative form of judgement but sadly, in state prison most are long past any morals. Remember, they aren't sent up until they obtain a mile long list of offenses. Today, state inmates aren't bothered with such little details as child killers, they're too busy with forming gangs such as Aryan Nation.

That's fine, we don't need your plaudits. Being sober is it's own reward.

But he was not convicted. Again, we live in the innocent until proven guilty, and this guy wasn't proven guilty in the eyes of that jury, for whatever reason.

If he had been convicted, then, yes, he should have stayed there.

You know, the Old Testament has a great system for criminal justice. I think we have strayed to far from that.

I don't KNOW who the lawyer was. You don't suppose he's retained him once again?

It has been reported, that the Police thought she was a "runaway" because she looked older than her 11 years, and they erroneously assumed she was just another runaway teenager. {IOW's they can't read and just looked at her photo?}

They won't make that mistake again, although in this case, Carlie couldn't have been helped, he probably killed her before anyone realized she was missing.

"Maybe we'll see him fry."

Yes, I hope we live to see him fry. I think average stay on death row -- with automatic appeals, taxpayer-supported public defenders and delays -- is around 18 years.
