Yup. He should have know better since he was on the USO tour in Iraq. We are in a war, nothing abut our troops, and we get a pierce nipple. Football lost today, this is not going away. Viva Baseball!

That flag was desecrated. I hope someone had the good sense to give it a proper burning and disposal. That whole halftime sho just sucked IMHO...

Actually I didn't. Kid Rock is very supportive of our military men and women.
It might be good that someone let Kid Rock know. I would count if a faux-paus, but I'm not going to hold it against him.
Besides, he substituted his normal lyrics with "I'm proud I'm livin' in the U.S.A.". Most "artists" don't care enough to even say U.S.A., much less make it part of their performance at the Super Bowl.

I do not like the Clinton Broadcasting System, but they do not plan the haftime show, it's the NFL.

Yes I did see it, it took a while to sink in so I asked my husband (he said he did not see anything)so I asked him to reply TIVO and there it was! Full exposure!!
We must write into CBS and complain, this was no way to represent the USA to the world! I just want to know if this was not done with her consent, he should be brought up on assault charges!!

I'm sorry, is there some kind of sporting event going on today?
I'm one of those "don't like sports, don't watch sports, could care less about sports" people. Once upon a time I was a fan, but then all of the major league sports degenerated into thugball, and that was too much to put up with.

Have we had the mystery guest yet? The introduction of yet another booby in the Jackson family.

LOL...My Wife and I were watching together. Our jaws collectively dropped and we looked at each other not believing what we had just seen. Not really what they were trying to prove by showing Mrs. Jacksons breast at the halftime performance of a football game?

It's the NFL that puts this together and I think CBS had nothing to do with this. Write or call the NFL. They are responsible.

I just want to know if this was not done with her consent, he should be brought up on assault charges!!It looked like the top just ripped away on purpose. Exposing a gold pasty. It was way too over the top.

Kid Rock is an unabashed Bush supporter, so he didn't mean any offense by it. He cut a hole in the middle of the flag and wore it like a poncho. How in the world is that not offensive?

Did anyone get offended when Chris Rock wore a flag by putting a hole in the middle of itI was for a moment.
So many people do not realize this is an inappropriate way to display our flag.
He is a strong supporter of the troops.
I'm going to let it go as an overzealous and ignorant indiscretion.

Here' the note I just sent at CBS.com:
"I was thoroughly disgusted with the half-time show. Kid Rock disgracing the flag and showing naked breasts is a slap in the face to America's reputation as a world leader and standard bearer. Bring back the marching bands and get rid of the MTV juvenile crap."
To: zoso82t
Sorry, but Kid Rock sucked, the whole half time sucked. Totally lousy.

Yes, that bothered me too. He clearly just cut up a flag to make himself a poncho. And then he whipped it off and handed it to one of the other guys who crumpled it up and tossed it on the drum stage. Yuck.

It's the NFL that puts this together and I think CBS had nothing to do with thisThat may be but it is on CBS and they are ultimately responsible for what is seen on their network. They likely had final approval of the halftime show.
