Did anyone else see if Justin Timberlake pulled off Janet Jackson's top?

Michael Jackson was there, too???

LOL!

It was rather like a scene out of that horrid Patrick Swayze movie way back when... bleah!

The stunt becomes all the more offensive when you understand that Timberlake was mimicing the so- called lyrics of the so called song.

Janet probably was too. For events like this they don't want *anything* to go wrong. heh.

I don't see any reason Baghdad Bob shouldn't be hired on at CBS. He displays the same sincereness as CBS.

It is, as I originally said (correctly!), nipple jewelry - a nipple piercing.

He shoots, he scores! :)

Just sent my complain to CBS about an MTV-ran halftime and the CBS-approved commericials that were disgusting.

Yes - and did you notice that the flag ended up on the floor in a crumpled heap by the drums?

That was the point when I shut the whole disgusting spectacle off...

We LOVE old fashioned Sousa type marching bands but whenever you go to a parade, they don't play Sousa music, only modern crap. Nothing like a rousing patriotic Sousa march! I agree.

I'm actually starting to think that maybe Justin grabbed the wrong cup. Maybe there was actually something under the left side. Ah well, just another disaster in a long line of disasters in that half time (the gay clockwork orange costumes, Nelly's fondness for touching himself, the flag poncho). To paraphrase an old friend this halftime sucked on one end and blew on the other. In a world where we've come to expect halftime shows to be terrible MTV really managed to exceed expectations.

It's NOT just a breast. The whole dance was suggestive. Give me the good old days when people kept themselves covered and actually thought modesty was a good thing.

Well, if you pierce your nipple, you need protection and it's supposed to be pretty. But from the pictures we saw of it, it ain't working. M

I was switching between the bowl and the news. As soon as I saw Jackson and and those half-dressed dancers, I knew it was sleazy and felt embarassed for the fans. I changed the channel and never went back until the 3rd quarter. I didn't hear about the stunt until this morning.

To say there was "no real warning" isn't completely true. It was trashy from the beginning, from what I could tell.

Leaving aside the fact that it almost made me faint when I saw that picture, it looked aggravating as hell. I figured she would need a "stud" or something like that, but that looked like a little much for day to day wear, at least to me.

I hope each one of us contacts the folks responsible. Libs don't care, for the most part, what is shown on television or anywhere else. We could leave Michael Jackson alone for all they care. As long as they have power, they're happy, and they'll let the masses do whatever they want. Sick, isn't it?

I love how people seem more intent on defending indency rather than demanding decency.
