That would be for Rudy to kick her A$$ in the '06 NY Senate race, then the only Klintoon we would ever have to fear would be Chelsea!

I'm leaning in the direction of Condy Rice. Takes all the wind out of the Dem's sails for running the first serious female candidate. "Oh, yeah, well ours is black, too.."
Not to mention that she is truly brilliant.

Colorado Governor Bill Owens! He signed a bill barring instate tuition for Illegal Immigrants, he barred the state of COlorado from accepting Matricular Consular cards, and he has vowed to sign a bill to ban Affirmative action in Colorado universities!

I think Haley Barbour, the new Gov. of Mississippi could make a good run. Might even be a pretty good President.

We Republicans are going to have to start grooming a Latino candidate for prez in 2008, if we want to get the majority vote.

The Honorable Congressman Billybob, of course.

Bill Owens (Governor of CO) and George Allen (Senator from VA) are the two names I've heard most prominently mentioned as realistic possibilities.
To: Salgak
Condie Rice, of course.

Unfortunately I think GWB is clearing the decks for Jeb. This can be seen by the fact that he is not grooming a successor by selecting a viable candidate as VP.
I just don't think the American people are going to elect 3 people from the same immediate family in a 20 year period. To much like a dynasty. It would also be unprecedented.

I'm quite sure the movers and shakers over at the RNC are way ahead of us on this one.
The reason I say this is they remember the period of over half a century the Republican Party was wandering in the political desert, having lost to the Dems in both houses of the Congress during the '30s, '40s, '60s, and the '80s, as well as having run pallid Presidential campaigns during the '90s.
Provided Rudy G. remains healthy and his cancer stays in remission, he could indeed be a formidable opponent to Hillary; then, perhaps in 2012 or 2016, Jeb Bush could be the frontrunner. For the time being, let's just hope we can fillerbuster-proof the Senate, so the judicial nominees this president has put up can finally get through.
-Regards, T.
