A Finest Prayer for our brave Military:

God Bless Our Military

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Below are names of some of our FReepers' loved ones who are serving our country. If you have someone you would like to add, please address a post to Billie; Dansangel; Dutchess; Mama_Bear; Aquamarine and we will add their name to this list. As we pray for them, we pray also for all our nation's leaders, and military personnel, and their families and friends. May God hold them close to His heart.
~~~~~~~~~~   ~~~~~~~~~~

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.
Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I actually enjoy getting to work just after 6. That gives me some good "quiet time" to get things accomplished before my phone starts ringing and people start dropping by my office.

Your chicken cordon bleu sounds great! I'm helping myself to some M&Ms (the "other" food group - LOL)

Prayers needed for our troops, coalition troops, and the freedom desiring, peace longing Iraqi citizens.

Agreed. Our military and our president and his advisors are prominently in my daily prayers. Will keep the threat of explosions in mind while praying during that time.

Thank you for sharing that (((((TexKat))))))

No doubt about it...there are glimpses of our dear Angelique on many a day.
She slips in with the early morning fog, and helps burn it off so we can find our way...on the darkest of nights, she is the lone star that beckons and encourages us to press on...

In the whisper of a breeze on a warm night, one can feel her touch and her tiny sigh, wishing we could hear her every good thought for us.

She is one of those special friends who forever remains with us, filling us with love and hope.

But we still can offer wunderful wurdz to her, hurling upward alliteration of the best kind, like moonbeams in reverse!!

Here's some love backatcha, Angelique. You changed our lives for the better...

Hurling hugs high - from LadyX and The Wasperman...

I've been in a cooking mood tonight angel. I downloaded a lot of the low-carb recipes from one of carlo's threads and I've been experimenting in the kitchen. Jack thinks I must have a fever LOL. I love a challenge though. Trying to make our diet interesting without carbs is a real challenge. The chicken was very good. Rolled up ham and swiss cheese in chicken breasts, pinned with toothpick, dipped in egg/butter mixture and rolled in grated provolone cheese and baked for 35 min. Very good. No carbs. I made some sugar-free jello for tomorrow and then made some low-carb fudge. For someone who never cooks this was an evening of accomplishment. (Hope Jack doesn't get too used to it).
