This holiday season, the U.S. government has been warning that foreign aircraft might be hijacked and used to attack American targets, leading to cancellations of some flights from France and demands that sky marshals be aboard certain other planes coming to this country. Worrisome as the intelligence-intercepted chatter that prompted such actions might be, a much more ominous problem may not be getting the attention it deserves -- the danger arising from radical Muslims (known as Islamists) already in the United States.

No one should underestimate the difficulty of this task. National Public Radio reported yesterday that three teams of the Southern California Muslim Football League have called themselves Intifada, soldiers of Allah and Mujahedeen.

Thank you for letting us know..Recently, my hometown newspaper featured a front page article by none other than a muslim professor teaching at our local college. His article, of course, was against the war in Iraq and was anti-American. I just shuddered because I know 90% of the people in our town disagree with everything he said and everything he stands for but few will say anything because of political correctness. Also, his status as a professor protects him. Homeland security had better be monitoring EVERY mideast "professional" who has come to this country over the past 30 years. This is war and it is here. Blind trust because of advanced degrees will not do.

Interesting to contrast this with the post from the Washington Times about the kid who ran into trouble at school because he advocated cracking down on illegal immigration. Guess it's not OK to argue that the govt. should enforce existing immigration laws, but it is OK for radical Islamists to advocate the destruction of the US as we know it.
