Last time we messed with Hamas, they did "bring it on" and we did "briing it on home" with tails between legs. (with the quickness) we will do the same in Iraq,The only way that scenario will be played out would be if one of the Dem candidates gets elected......
Don't think that is gonna happen in 2004........
(2008 don't look too promising either......)

Last time we messed with Hamas, . . . Could you be more specific? I'm not sure what incident you're referring to.

... and do not place sanctions on them. As of yet.
Our ties with Israel have grown stronger under our present administration and positive progress has been made.
Don't place so much focus on the past situations than on present progress and you will have a more optimistic attitude on middle east concerns IMHO.
It just takes time.
Shoot, if one took to heart what the media has said in the past about Saddam, he would be running Iraq yet and would live forever!

"Hit us, and it only PI$$e$ us off."
That's clever, but we have taught Hamas:
"Kill us, and we will quickly leave your country".
(or has everyone forgotten Beirut?)
Let's see, list of countries we scurry out of, after we find natives less than welcoming of our benevolent hegemony [sic].
Vietnam
Lebanon
Somalia
Iraq, Afgan (give these time, my prettys)
but before we run, you can all talk tough online YEAHHA!!

Perhaps we should implant a global positioning device on Saddam, give ample notice to all parties who might like to see his tail thoroughly flailed, and then drop him in the lap of the Palistinean leadership. Many would like the privilege of killing Saddan, and would make mince meat of anyone of so little might as the likes of this pinhead leader and his paramilitaries. Saddam would get his just deserts, the world would be rid of a few hundred more terrorists, and "the street" would have further tangible evidence that the phrase "God willing" actually implies that just because a Mohammedan thinks or wants something does not mean that it is so, or will come to pass.

Well, one must remember that President Bush signed an executive order to not place sanctions on the Palestinian Authority and another executive order to not move our embassy to Jerusalem. The Bush Administration has a policy of supporting the creation of a PLO state. And just a few days ago he called on Israel not to do things that would impede the creation of such a terrorist state.

Surely you jest. We could send our girl scouts to take care of hamas. You leftist America haters are all the same. You favor this policy of appeasement. Somehow if we just 'turn the other cheek' after an attack on our country and grovel at the feet of our attackers, pleading with them not to attack us again, everything will be fine. We tried this policy for 8 years and IT led to 9/11. The U.N. tried the policy of appeasement and look what it got them in Iraq. It's nice how you refer to our military as 'mercenaries' but then act as if your concerned for their well-being in the next sentence. I am thankful that you and your ilk are not in power. hamas a match for our military? Give me a break.

That was then. That was before Americans realized that we can get hit here, in this country, and die. That was before, when we felt we were invulnerable.
This is now. I gladly commend my family to this fight. I would gladly take up a weapon myself.
No one on this board, other than yourself, does not understand that this is a fight to the death.

We lost 3000 on 9/11 and you would've had us to bail then (and not fight at all) How would that have helped us avoid another 9/11? Huh? HUH?

Your making my point yonif. For one to succeed in diplomacy, one has to be careful of verbiage as well as action.
Without diplomacy, one has to keep that big stick hidden while walking.
