I'll bet that they will target big media like CNN etc... It is really thought that we communicate with the troops via the media.

When I was recently in Riyadh, I ws amazed at the sheer number of arabs that watched CNN international as the "Bible" of world events. IF I were a betting man (I would be living in Vegas) which I am not, I would bet heavily on something that has the media attached to it. That would give them (musli) instant validation in their efforts. CNN tower in Atlanta is a VERY attractive target, as is Rockefeller center in NY where all the networks have thier programs in front of windows and such. Just a hunch.

I've been thinking the same thing. Either the media or they'd go after the White House & Pentagon again, like they doggedly went after the WTC again after failing to bring the towers down the first time.

It frustrates me a great deal to see Americans trading their rights for pretense of increased security whenever anything happens. The relatively small events that have happened recently sure do have people in a useless tizzy. This just goes to show you haw far the educational system has rotted away ... Americans no longer understand their precious birthright.

I agree. Part of what you point out is the actions of safety-Nazis, I believe. One person gets hurt and we all have to give up a certain amount of freedom to ensure that someone else doesn't get hurt. The mantra is "If it saves one life, it's worth it".

I would bomb Mecca & one other major city - choose 5 cities but don't announce which one it would be.

ROFLMAO...marks the 1 millionth time this stupid suggestion has been made on FR by the armchair war criminal crowd, I think.

1) Al Queda is already setting off bombs in Saudi cities, (Including Mecca) I fail to see how exactly they'd be deterred by any of those cities being bombed by us.

2) Bin Laden's wet dream would be indiscriminate US attacks on Arab cities, especially Mecca. Nothing would please him more.

3) Any nuking of Mecca would kill tens of thousands of citizens of a wide variety of US allies, like Turkey, etc.
