Whether 200,000 or 400,000, it's a lot more than 3000. True. This is a resilient country. It frustrates me a great deal to see Americans trading their rights for pretense of increased security whenever anything happens. The relatively small events that have happened recently sure do have people in a useless tizzy. This just goes to show you haw far the educational system has rotted away ... Americans no longer understand their precious birthright.

Americans no longer understand their precious birthright.I agree. Part of what you point out is the actions of safety-Nazis, I believe. One person gets hurt and we all have to give up a certain amount of freedom to ensure that someone else doesn't get hurt. The mantra is "If it saves one life, it's worth it".
