Mark Morford: Be Thankful You're Not Dubya (because then I'd be lusting after YOU)
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | Wednesday, November 26, 2003 | Mark Morford; Not Much To Be Thankful For

This Thanksgiving, as you sip the wine and hug the family and toast the friends and hoard the stuffing and curse the airport security, remember to give thanks you are not G.W. Bush. Hey, it's important.

1) Be thankful that you do not have to suffer Dubya's massive crushing karmic burden, as wrought by inflicting heaps of environmental disaster and vicious unnecessary war and a stunning string of lies lies lies like a firehose of giblet gravy splattered all over the planet.

For it really is all too plain: G.W. Bush is one of the most reviled and openly disrespected major world leaders in modern history.

That says it all doesn`t it? Saddam Hussein? Who`s he? Fidel Casshole? Who`s he? Kim Jun Il? Who`s he?

...brutal scowling despot who at least kept the damn lights on. I seem to recall that during WWII, a similar comment was made about "Il Duce", Benito Mussolini. "Oh, Sure," they said, "he's a tyrannical despot who has helped the Axis slay ten million innocent people, but you know, he made the trains run on time!" Me? I'm grateful for the following: 1) I am not a whiny little out of power Liberal goop-gobbling, filth-spewing, card-carrying, ACLU eco-moron Democrat made bitter by the fact that my political party has prostituted itself to a bunch of single-issue morons, and been sold out by a adulterous, lying, craven, two-faced, 14-yer-old adolescent scumbag of an impeached so-called "president" who would trade the soul of everyone of his followers for a shot at being in power again. 2) That the aforementioned whiny, spineless, bitter old Lefty journalist is going to see, in his lifetime, the crushed, burned, and abandoned remains of his political party buried deep in the dirt, with his fields salted and cursed. 3) That the Internet (begun not by the clueless Algore, but by visionary scientists and military men as a method of ensuring that MY way of life would survive a first strike by an Evil Empire that was crushed, burned, and abandoned itself, orchestrated by a real president) has had the additional byproduct of busting up the "news" cartel to the point that the Libs no longer pre-chew the newsflow, allowing Truth to emerge into the marketplace of ideas, dooming most of the Lefty agenda, now that people are not slaves to the senile droolings of the Newtwork Newsanchors. And... 3) That despite the best efforts of Left-leaning judges who insist on inventing Law from the Bench, we are STILL a nation of God, struggling to reclaim our lost mantle as Freedom-bearer to the world. Thank God, Praise Bush, Pass the stuffing. Happy Thanksgiving.

No worries, Bassmaner.

I normally spend my days arguing with myself over whether it really is a good idea to ignore jagoffs like Miss Morford. Some days I'd just prefer to pummel them.

Ever notice that Morford's articles contain subtle references to the penis?

Nope. I get distracted by the overt ones.

Sorry I missed it ... You can't let Morford get to you. He represents about 1/100th of 1% of the population, even in SFO. A good day for him is one where he doesn't get a distended colon. The only "joy" he knows comes from onanism and mechanical devices inserted into various orifices. His brain is filled with disdain for anyone that doesn't see 'his' opinions as gospel. His life consists of hating everyone that is not as pathetic as he is. You waste your time by hating him back ... his own bitterness and cynicism are all the punishment he will ever need.

"Don't ask me, I'm not Mark Morford. For that, I'm hankful every day of the year."

Mark chooses to act the way he does. Even if being gay is a matter of genetics (I don't fully believe that, but it's possible), his histrionics and hatred of Middle America is his choice. His ridiculous need to include sexual references in EVERY ONE of his articles is his choice.

This guy has the same writing style as Ed Anger.

Now why you want to go and insult one of the most under apreciated columnists of our time?Ed Anger is one of the few things worth reading in the Weekly World News.

Seeing those sentiments in other contexts certainly gives a little insight into the author and the validity of his points.

Indeed it does...
