Monica Lewinsky says her White House liaison is a liability on the dating scene.
The intern infamous for her affair with US President Bill Clinton told GQ magazine that she goes on dates occasionally but her romantic relationships have been short-lived.
Ms Lewinsky, 30, said in the interview she sympathised with the men she meets, saying she, too, would be intimidated by the tales of her past.
"If I were a guy and I'd heard all those things about a girl, I don't know that I'd want to take her out," Ms Lewinsky told the magazine.
But she also admitted she is impatient when men are not as responsive to her as she would like them to be.
"The one thing I don't do well with, with a guy, is ambivalence," she said. "I want to shake them and say, 'C'mon, just like me! Do what I say!'"
In the nearly six years since news of her dalliance with Clinton broke, leading to his 1998 impeachment and later acquittal by the US Senate, Ms Lewinsky has designed handbags and, most recently, hosted a reality TV host.
But the woman who nearly cost Clinton the Oval Office said she wanted to dispel rumours that the scandal had made her wealthy.
"One of the huge misconceptions about me in the past few years is that I have made a fortune from this," Ms Lewinsky said.
"People who have this idea that I have millions of dollars or even a million, or close to a million, are off their rocker."

"One of the huge misconceptions about me in the past few years is that I have made a fortune from this," Ms Lewinsky said. She's waiting for the next remake of Jaws for her next big opportunity.

Monica, it's this simple: most men prefer not to associate with scum.

"One of the huge misconceptions about me in the past few years is that I have made a fortune from this," Ms Lewinsky said.
Translation: "I'm looking for a man with enough money to support me in the lifestyle to which my mother always taught me I was entitled."

Ok, so I'm feeling masochistic today.
I would date, operative word is DATE...not interchangable with hop in the sack or any other cute euphemism for sex oral or otherwise...Ms. Lewinsky. People make mistakes, so what if hers happened to be (inter)national news? It's easy to judge someone based on views the telly and other news outlets present, Its easy to bag on someone because of how they look. Is this any less shallow than that article that was on here yesterday? You know the one with the young lady who was fuming cause she was stuck with cab fare?
A lot of conservatives are no better than the "intolerant" libs who want to call names and paint us as a bunch of billybobs with rifle racks in our trucks.
Everyone has faults flaws and imperfections and I think a lot of people forget that when they see a convenient target to make fun of. Just like grade school children. It makes some people feel better to revel in the misfortunes of others. Undoubtedly, some of the scorn is richly deserved, after all stupidity is rampant in our society. However one thing that life has taught me is that you screw up, you learn from it, and you go on. JMO

"If I were a guy and I'd heard all those things about a girl, I don't know that I'd want to take her out," Wrong, Monica. For that reason alone...a lot of guys will take you out. They just won't take you home to Mom or entertain thoughts of marriage. They'll toss you aside when they find out that the lights are on but no one is home and then move on to the next conquest.

Monica Lewinsky says her White House liaison is a liability on the dating scene. It's hard to tell which is worse.
Not knowing where someone's been, or knowing where someone's been.

Do they have the same hair stylist?
Mike goes a little heavier on the makeup, though, I think.
