TERRI'S FIGHT(Daily Thread 2 - October 30-31, 2003)Link back to thread 1 - October 29, 2003
Contained in thread 1:
Summary of Terri's bone scan, transcript from "On the Record" response from Bobby Schindler and Attny. Pat Anderson to Michael Schiavo's appearance on Larry King Live, link to where to search public records for Pinellas County (for a fee), information on Terri's Lights, link to transcript from Larry King Live interview with Michael Schiavo and George Felos, synopsis of radio interview with Michael Schiavo's brother in Pennsylvania, summary of interview with Pat Anderson on Michael Reagan's show, portion of testimony from Schiavo medical malpractice trial, some links to information on the Florida death cult, names and email address for the Florida Supreme Court, information on previous GAL, Richard Pearse, Jr., information on GAL currently being proposed Jay Wolfson and links back to earlier threads on the case. Of course this overview isn't comprehensive, but my main point in this section is to provide easy reference to what could be important information. Also, links to other websites focusing on Terri's fight can be found in thread 1, here. Thanks to everyone for your contributions and for your dedication to this fight.

This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.
FL_Engineer suggested that if you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

It sounds from this as if she fell in an area downstairs from the bedroom---or perhaps fell down the stairs. Note he says "I went DOWN" to get her. Makes a person go, "Hmmmmm."
I learned a LONG time ago that I couldn't even keep up with little "white lies." Several episodes over my Dad's knee finally convinced me.

This is the biggest grassroots activism freep I've ever participated in. Terri may seem to be just one person but it is exposing huge flaws in our judicial system and that is what conservatism is all about.
Additionally, I called my aunt in the midwest today. They are still under the mistaken impression that Terri is "in a coma". We need midwest freepers to explain to their neighbors that Terri is responsive, etc. My aunt was horrified when I told her what all was going on here in Pinellas County.
Ya think Terri's the only person subjected to a starvation-dehydration diet? Absolutely not.
If this isn't considered activism will Free Republic pay my long distance phone bills for the past two months? LOL Fregards, FV

From my personal observation, the Schindlers are not a bunch of liars. It's an honor to have gotten to know them. They are fine people in every way. Terri is responsive - the only lies are incoming. Judge Greer treated the Schindlers like second class citizens since day one. Terri is just a case file to Judge Greer and he is legally blind.

Parsing for clarity, or for legality?
I purposely grouped the "justice system" as a system.
Only a dishonest lawyer would attempt to separate the criminal from the civil, as if they were actually separate and distinct entities, from the justice system.
Sure lawyers are working on Terri's side.
That is the system, is it not?
A close knit elitist debating society, that is divorced from the actual consequences of their actions in actual human reality.
1.Vote NO, everytime, every chance, everywhere on judicial retention.
2.Never elect any lawyer to public office, not even as dogcatcher.
In ten years, we might have our country back.

Terri has a half a million spokespersons. The bottom line is that the media will only put one what they want their viewers to see. They whittle interviews down to soundbites and hubby's attorney does seem to own Pinellas County, lock stock and barrel. He is managing the media but lately, some of the local papers seem to be distancing themselves from George Felos. Maybe he finally creeped them out too.
I'm fully supportive of Terri's PR team, her attorneys, and selfless people who showed up from over 14 states to ask what they could do to help.
Maybe not being in Tampa Bay, you are not picking up on the fact that what is happening with Terri is miraculous and historic. Our first concern is Terri and she's doing well.

I think I recall Baden even stating that Terri could be a candidate for rehab as she wasn't pvs. A 180 from the night before wherein he stated that she couldn't hear. Terri's family talks to her every day. Her brother told her daily during her starvation-dehydration period they were going to get her out of there. That's reported in the media somewhere. Terri's a strong girl.
Personally, I'm against starvation-dehydration as an option for end of life protocol. It is not painless as alleged. Too many Americans are being starved-dehydrated to death and this all started when our attentions were elsewhere.

Fox was the attorney representing Michael in the medical malpractice suit. Nothing he said to reporters can have any real relevance. It's interesting that he still brags that they won 6.8 million dollars. Hmm, this is very interesting. I haven't read all the comments yet, but has anyone else wondered as I am if that really was the amount awarded to MS?
Is it certain that he received only 1.2 million?

>>starvation-dehydration as an option for end of life protocol. It is not painless as alleged...
And if we're not careful, euthanasia will go on, with only modifications for our sensibilities. Starvation isn't painless; drugs can make it so; soon, then, they'll cut out the starvation and just dispatch the inconvenient and useless by means of lethal drugs.
Some German soldiers had sensibilities about bullets and bayonets and massacres, and eventually Zyklon B in faraway camps settled their misgivings.
