That was Sheila Jackson Lee who was stupid enough to think we had landed anywhere but the moon. My hometown neighborhood Representative, I'm ashamed to say - but I can guarantee I never voted for her!

Remember the Comet Shoemaker-Levy collision with Jupiter back in the early 1990s? These photos have a similar look to them.

"We need to send Roy Scheider, directed by Peter Hyams, up there to have a look around."

also make room for Streisand, Baldwin(s), Depp, Penn, etc.
I've always thought they were just brown holes....

It's full of stars!

Have you heard of the 2001: A Space Odyssey whoopi cushion?

"My God! It's full of farts!"

True, but that's a damn nice home refractor. Granted, the Toucam is a $100 little webcam that was not made for astronomy. I've had pretty good luck just sticking my digital camera in the eyepiece.

Except it was mis-translated.

The correct edition:

Actually, it's the door to the (Tagens(?) sphere that scientists call Jupiter) that swallowed the USS Enterprise which Scottie and Geordi rescued by placing another ship in the doorway to keep the door open to permit the Enterprise to slide on by. Boy, Jean-Luc was happy man that day.

You bet, Takahashi is has been producing fluorite apochromatic scopes for a long time. A real fine telecope. And you are correct, the webcam isn't met for astronomical scopes, but they do an outstanding job when stacking methods are used in imaging programs.
