True, but that's a damn nice home refractor. Granted, the Toucam is a $100 little webcam that was not made for astronomy. I've had pretty good luck just sticking my digital camera in the eyepiece.

You bet, Takahashi is has been producing fluorite apochromatic scopes for a long time. A real fine telecope. And you are correct, the webcam isn't met for astronomical scopes, but they do an outstanding job when stacking methods are used in imaging programs.

Aperture on this Tak is just 200 mm, and this baby gets $197,000 including the base and tracking unit....High quality stuff.
