Leave it to Jew Hater Extraordinaire, Tony Auth to determine that not STARVING a woman to death because she's inconvenient, is actually holding up The Lord's plans.
Too bad Terri Schiavo isn't Jewish, then he could change the scene setting to Hell.

This story is confusing without the consideration of faith. Faith is acting on what you believe, not what you see or feel. This family through the power of prayer (over 2000 prayers sent directly to them not including those on Free republic) have given them hope for Terris future for a sanctified life. God is clearly in this and those of faith get their direction from Him. Sometimes that direction does not make sense to those looking in on the situation. You may never understand why they have chosen this path, however it is not necessary for you to understand the mind of God.

Yes, everyone should have a living will. It does not cost a fortune to get one filed with a lawyer. It does not stop this same event from happening but everyone will know your wishes because you have it in writing. And, there really is no debate about what you want.

The problem is, you're saying something to the effect of "Why should she be FORCED to live like that?" and it is coming off as "Why should she be ALLOWED to live like that?". Eh, Dr Mingele? The problem is that you don't seem to know much about Dr. Josef Mengele, and his torture of unwilling participants in medical procedures, or you wouldn't bring his name into this thread. What you're saying is something to the effect of "you're a nazi" and it's coming off as "I'm a nitwit."

>>That first cartoon seems spot on. Folks are more interested in keeping her trapped in that atrophied body with that crippled mind. Why? Is that existence preferable to Heaven?<<

>A roach prefers darkness to light. Is that the function of a higher brain?
*IF* I replied what I'm thinking, I'd get banned. However, I think you better go to her website (research is our friend, ya know) and watch the video of her responses to her parents. You know, like the one where she tries to say, "hiiii" to her mom, in response to her mom's "hi, baby".

But if the husband wins, and she is starved to death, that's still god's will, right?

Through your inappropriate remarks comes a ray of truth.
>>>But I saw how he influenced my grandparents in their donations of money to charities that helped the mentally retarded, and in my grandmother's donation of time driving the 'short bus'.
http://www.hospicepatients.org/Hosp-FL-Suncoast-Cmplnt.html CLASS ACTION COMPLAINT
Defendants.
Hospice of the Florida Suncoast
The Defendants, although engaged in good and laudatory work and endeavors, have unfortunately violated Florida law by funneling contributions intended for charitable and eleemosynary purposes into a for-profit software company, Suncoast Solutions, without disclosing to contributors and donors the diversion of funds to the software company. In addition, the fact that the software company is and has been operating at a loss and will continue operating at a loss in the foreseeable future, has not been disclosed to the contributors or donors either. Also, unfortunately, the software company has disseminated private and confidential patient and employee data, including information regarding patients with HIV, employee names and identifiers and other confidential and private data.
Further, in-kind donations to Hospice at least on some occasions have been diverted and/or utilized by certain individuals for their own personal gain. Hospice does not presently have in place appropriate procedures and controls to assure that in-kind donations are properly received and accounted for and sold or utilized in a proper arms-length manner.

What the artist is unaware of is that this intervention is NOT MAN MADE....it is " GOD MADE".....God knew before Terri was ever born , WHEN she was to be born, and He alone knows the DAY AND HOUR when she will die. This is no surpise to Him at all. It, in fact is IN HIS DIVINE PLAN!!!! Also, I have been thinking this morning......God's THRONE ROOM is OPEN and is bypassed by every court room here on earth.....and guess what Judge Greer!! HE IS LORD OF ALL!!!!! You Judge Greer, You George Pelos, You Michael Schiavo will some day BOW TO HIM AND CALL JESUS LORD!!!!! Mark my word on that one.!!!

Sorry we can't be all what you consider to be super specimens of human beings.
And who is to determine who is fit enought to live or not? Mengele had some answers to that.

God's THRONE ROOM is OPEN and is bypassed by every court room here on earth The Alabama Supreme Court judge that is in a legal tussle over the Ten Commandments would disagree with you. He believes even without the commandments in the courthouse, that he, as judge, will abide by God's law.

I may never know God's will in this case. I am an outsider supporting them through prayer and that means for all involved. I felt led to pray for the family on both sides to have direction from God. I also spent much of that time in prayer for Terri and her comfort. I believe God is providing that.
Sometimes we lose the battle in the fight of faith and give up because it is too difficult. I know in my personal situations I always ask for support and prayer when I am seeking God for his guidance. It is for me to accept His will and follow His direction. I fully believe God helps us All by letting the truth of the situation be known so that we can make decisions according to the truth. It is my hope His Will is being provided to those who are seeking Him.

And who is to determine who is fit enought to live or not? Is nature 'god's will'?

That first cartoon seems spot on. Folks are more interested in keeping her trapped in that atrophied body with that crippled mind. Why? Is that existence preferable to Heaven? How do you know her mind is crippled? Are you in her head?

Hospice Patients Alliance has been all over $uncoast Hospice, as they call them. When I get a breather, I want to join them. $uncoast is ALL about the money. I was just looking at the article again that talks about ONE of the TWO FELONS it knowingly hired! This woman was convicted for EMBEZZLEMENT, and they put her in the FINANCE DEPT. [Good article.

This fits right in with what I wrote over here:
Attorney: Terri Schiavo Again Being Fed Through Tube

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1006402/posts?page=17 I STILL have too many windows (42 and barely chugging) to go back and find it (I have several articles in each window at this point), but it's the part about the banks/trusts/Elderly non-profits. It's RIPE for embezzlement, IMO. Maybe that is why they hired this woman, with all her know-how, to work in the finance department!
I am beginning to wonder if this is the reason that no one seems interested in stopping this: that Terri's case is the tip of the ice-berg, and that this is public policy run by corporate interests, not just in Florida but all over this country.
Furthermore, $uncoast Hospice, as of September 30, 2002, was BEING PURSUED FOR COLLECTION BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES FOR $14.8 MILLION, OWED SINCE March 1997!
http://www.hhs.gov/of/reports/account/acct02/sect5/appende.html [Looking at the Florida Statutes last week, I wonder if they can be legally licensed, due to their financial problems. I don't think they can, by statute, and I think they could, and should be shut down for that reason alone]. Maybe they are being allowed to stay open to pay back their debt by murdering people like Terri Schiavo!
