UPDATE FROM TERRI'S VIGIL SITE ON LOCATION... by floriduh voter and drk4the1: TERRI IS NOT BEING RE-HYDRATED AT MORTON PLANT HOSPITAL IN CLEARWATER, FL. The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. H E L P !!!!!

You know, it is telling that a disproportionate number of Terri supporters (myself included) are disabled or have a disabled loved one. Also, the pro-death people all seem to have a story about a heart-wrenching decision to pull the plug. Of course some of them are just yanking our chains- these are the ULTIMATE trolling threads.

Everything I have read or seen about Terri says the overwhelming medical consensus is that she is in a permanent vegetative state.

Nobody here knows what Terri wants, or whether God wants a person in a permanent vegetative state kept alive by a machine for decades or not.

Well I know what God's Son said "by their fruits ye shall know them", and all the death-loving ghouls are so incredible easy to pick out by what they say and do. So please, don't make me laugh, trying to say that possibly these devilish people are on the side of "God"!

I got this email a few minutes ago:

Terri was just moved to Morton plant hospital under Gov. Bush's orders... a Dr was standing by to insert an IV into Terri to HYDRATE her. And a medical evaluation will happen and she will be stabalised. At this time, right now 9:30 PM our time Michael's atty FELO'S is in court before a judge (unknown to me if it is Judge Greer at this time) hearing motion for an injuction against the Gov. orders...

Right now this is all I can tell you... but I will update you at least one more time later tonight, either way if I have more news or not... THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for being so patient with me... God is good and we will all get through this together, Terri is in the BEST place she can be!!! AND God has her wrapped up in his loving protective arms!!!

If she is surrounded by love and care, by those who are devoted to making her life better, then what is the harm? Especially if her mind now like that of a child or infant.

The "big eyes" video has someone (dr?) telling Terri to open her eyes, open her eyes. After a length of time, she does. But whose to say that this wasn't something she was doing regularly anyway?

Oh c'mon. How could you not see in that video that Terri was making a huge effort to show she understood the doctor -- and how!?

Yes, it took her a few seconds to respond. Not unusual for brain-damaged patients.

I have been around brain-damaged patients, and I have never seen them make such an expression spontaneously.

You must've seen a different video than I saw. She was blank until Mom came in, became animated, smiled and continued to do so while Mom was adjusting her pillows/bed. That is quite a bit more than one second.

The fact is being feed through a feeding tube hooked up to a machine is artificial.

The fact is, her husband has denied her the therapy that could enable her to swallow, thus deliberately keeping her dependent on the "artificial" tube.
