Prevent Florida State Senator James King From Blocking Terr's Law

Florida Governor Jeb Bush is finally pursuing a course to save the life of Terri Schiavo. Governor Bush is calling a special session of the Florida legislatureon Monday to pass legislation that he worked on with Florida Speaker of the House Johnnie Byrd. ``Terri's Bill'' would immediately suspend all dehydration and starvation deaths in the state.
LifeNews.com, however is reporting that one man is the greatest obstacle to this happening, Florida Senate President Jim King, the man who controls the state Senate's agenda.
It's obviously important that we contact all state representatives, Senators, and other parties, but it is absolutely critical we put the pressure on Senator King!
Senator James E. "Jim" King, Jr.is the state Senator from Florida's district 8, which covers parts of Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns, and Volusia counties. Especially if you live in his district, please call him and tell him that he needs to listen to Governor Bush and Speaker Byrd and put this on the agenda tomorrow. Tell him you think this bill needs to be passed ASAP. And call any relatives or friends you have who live in that district to call (or email) him. Right now, he may be the one person with the most power to stop this bill. Let's let him know it needs to get passed. He needs some serious Freeping!

I am going to pass your request on to someone more capable... Does ANYONE know how to get in touch with Dandilion?? She is on the HOSPICE front. I will email to Lisa, but not sure how fast I can get information back from her.
To: FR_addict
Had the woman seen the videos? Some of the videos have audio with them, which helps explain what is going on and you can hear Terri trying to respond.
Terri may be brain disabled but the videos show a beautiful person alive and responding to other people around her.

That information should be provided in the sourced material to be sent ... good idea, FR

Maybe CS or Ohian has this info in a readable format? I know I have seen someone who had the info in a readable format, I just can't remember who.
All the info (pretty much ANY info you want on Greer, Felos, and Schiavo) are at
this thread. Beware though, it's over 5300 posts long!!

I just called Mike Bell-Vp of Fl Hospice and got thru to his office. I spoke with him at length. I asked him why they accepted Terri when she is NOT TERMINALLY ILL. He gave me such a bunch of garbage...medicare, medicaid etc but I kept on asking away....Hospice is a theory designed to grant dignity and loving surroundings as people pass on. Terri IS NOT TERMINALLY ILL! I asked how long the longest term Hospice patient has stayed in a Hospice facility and he did not know.
I'll tell you MarMema-it ISN't LONG because Hospice is a place people go to DIE.
Why did they accept someone, and are aiding in their death, when that person is NOT TERMINALLY ILL??????????
And the connection of dots of the people associated with Greer and Shiavo and the Hospice org.....Martha Lenderman-the CHAIR of Hospice in FL is married to Greers bency buddy. I called and LEFT A MESSAGE IN HER OFFICE TOO.
I want to know why hospice accepted a young lady who is not terminally ill and is aiding in her death.
I told them both to do the right thing-I had to leave a message with board member of Hospice Martha...but I spoke to Mike Bell-high level Hospice executive.
Martha's phone number is-727-541-7888 and she works in the county Terri's is being put to death in, Pinellas.
Mike's number is also from that area because his number is 727-886-4432<---the State Hospice phone number.
So the htq for Hospice must be located where Terri lays suffering.

Prosecutor Delivers Emergency Letters To Governor Bush in Terri Schiavo Case [Thomas More Center]

Former Prosecutor of Jack Kevorkian Delivers Emergency Letters To Governor Jeb Bush in Terri Schiavo Euthanasia Case
ANN ARBOR, MI Richard Thompson, responsible for the initial prosecutions of Jack Kevorkian, now Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, delivered two emergency letters to Florida Governor Jeb Bush Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, outlining the constitutional authority of the Governor to intervene in the case of Terri Schiavo, including a factual basis for initiating a criminal investigation. The letters were prepared hours after a feeding tube was removed from Schiavo, depriving her of food and water, leaving her to starve to death unless immediate action is taken.
Recognizing the emotional and political issues involved, the two letters explain that the Florida Governor has authority under the Florida Constitution to intervene, and urged him to initiate a criminal investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement based on a growing list of facts which suggest criminal wrongdoing and a conflict of interest on the part of Terri Shiavos husband and guardian Michael Shiavo.
Joining Thompson in the letters were former federal prosecutors Edward White III and Robert Muise. White served as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, and Muise served as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Both now work under Thompson at the Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, MI. Based on the extensive law enforcement experience of the attorneys involved, the letters set forth facts and steps upon which a formal criminal investigation should be initiated.
The letters assert that the facts of the case clearly establish probable cause to initiate a formal criminal investigation, and call on the Governor to direct the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to conduct a full investigation of the facts and circumstances of the case, including securing search warrants, interviewing witnesses and medical experts, and to take measures to prevent future harm to Ms. Schiavo pending the outcome of the investigation.
Thompson noted in the supplemental letter that he was responsible for the initial prosecutions of Jack Kevorkian, and that in at least one case of physician-assisted suicide, the wife was a victim of domestic violence, and her death was used as a cover-up for the husbands wrongdoing.
In a statement Thursday morning, Thompson urged the Florida Governor to review the letters, and take immediate steps to intervene in the case. It seems prudent under the circumstances that the presumption for life should prevail and a formal time-out should take place, allowing for a formal criminal investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and allow Terris parents to administer the necessary rehabilitation services to determine if Ms. Schiavo is able to ingest food on her own.

Over here ... Do you have sourced material on the Felos/Schiavo/Hospice connection ... then do you have any material on James King, Senate President, and his connection to the Hospice Board, including his website information?

That no one even mentioned it???
To: Pegita
You know, I just realized that I posted a huge text file on my webspace at
http://webpages.charter.net/honeygrl/terri.txt for pc93 a while back. It might have all the info you need on it. It has *alot* of stuff though to wade through. All of it is in a readable format, but you have to pick the info out that you need.

Thanks, FR, but she's looking for the connection between attorney/client/hospice board member ... conflict of interest
