With Republicans like Jeb, we don't need Democrats to do us in.
Outrageous, you say? How can a mere judge hold more power than the governor, you say? Reality, I say. It's been that way for a while now, while everybody was sleeping. We're no longer a Republic, we are ruled by the Philosopher-Kings of the Judiciary.

Pat Anderson is the attorney that has been representing the Schindlers lo these many years.

So I think we can believe that what she reported from the hospice is pretty credible.

And if it's true that the priest was not allowed to give the sacraments to Terri, as someone else has already stated, is this not against some law somewhere?

How can she be denied her religious rights?

This case just reeks.

She's been denied her 1st amendment rights under the constitution. That is gorunds for a federal suite and federal standing before the court.

This is like a plumber standing there, plunger in hand, furiously wracking his brains for "a way" to stop the toilet from overflowing.

Is a plunger needed to turn a stop valve?

Terri actually ATE SOME OF THE WAFER and swallowed it!

I'm very glad she got to receive communion.

I forgot to add to the last post -- I have read somewhere that he's reading these threads (or more likely IMO he's got a staffer reading 'em), so I figure my "open letters" here will stand an infinetly better chance of getting to his eyes than anything I'd send in email.

Only half. She still has not, from what I've read, received the Blood.

I take it that you have been believing the comatose and PVS descriptions they have of her in the major media. Of course, they aren't allowed to disconnect her if she isn't in either of those conditions. That's why they keep saying she is, so everybody will think that she is. You know, "if you say something long enough, people just might begin to believe it."

Catholic woman denied communion on her death bed
RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!

It absolutely is.

So MS "allowed" her to receive the communion wafer, which has no calories to speak of, but would not let her have the wine, which would quench her thirst and give her a few calories? I won't post what I think of this. I'd be arrested.

How can she be denied her religious rights?

Simple: her husband declares she doesn't want communion.

You noticed the physiological distinction as well?

If it were true that Terri ate part of a communion wafer today, her family and legal advocates won't waste any time getting it on her website and distributed to the media. If we don't hear or see it very soon, I think it would be safe to assume it didn't happen. :-(

There is conflicting reports out now as to whether or not she received it. The site says he was refused the opportunity to give her communion.

I don't think they've done one on Terri in YEARS! She hasn't even been allowed to have her teeth brushed in over ten years, what makes you think Michael would permit a brain scan to be done?

Surely Terri's parents still have the videotape though. They certainly know they have plenty of allies to keep it going and to get it posted other places on the web.
