On Monday, Oct 13, at noon, family and friends of Terri Schindler-Schiavo will begin a round-the-clock vigil on at Woodside Hospice located at 6774 102nd Ave N, Pinellas Park (66th St N & 102nd Ave).

Terri is scheduled to have her feeding tube removed on Wednesday, Oct 15, at 2:00 pm. A policeman will be posted at Terri's door at the hospice in order to keep the parents out. Michael Schiavo, the husband, has ordered that the does not want family and friends near Terri.

Please join us at Woodside Hospice anytime - day or night - calling on Governor Jeb Bush to use his executive power to save Terri's life. Your presence will be welcomed for any length of time.

Terri is disabled, but she is not in a coma or in a persistant vegetative state. She is fully aware of her surroundings and responds to people around her. She laughs and smiles when her parents visit her. Last night, her parents told me that she says "yes", "no", "hello." This may not sound like much, but it shows that Terri is not in a coma as her husband claims. Terri also told her parents that she does not want to be starved to death.

Randall Terry of Operation Rescue will hold a press conference at noon on Monday, Oct 13th. He will also have a press conference on Tueday at noon and Wednesday at 2:00 pm. If you live in the Tampa Bay area, please join us for the vigil.

It is inconceivable that a judge has ordered the death of an innocent woman. We need to do everything in our power to help Terri.

Darn! He didn't do his homework at all. C-mon Fox News, You have to do your homework here, you can't just look at the surface. Perhaps Greta Van Sustern could do an in -depth report? She is good at this, ferretting out legal cases.

What needs to be mentioned are the inconsistencies, and conflicts of interest. i.e. The suspicious circumstnaces of Terri's collapse, the dodctors who found her injuries to be consistent with strangulation. How , at first husband went to court and pleaded for big BUCKS$$$$$$$, so he could "take care of her for the rest of her life", but , $urpri$e, after big money was awarded ( KAAAA-CHING $$$$$!!!!) husband denied Terri ANY therapy at all and $urprise- He suddenly "recalled" that Terri told him "she didn't want to live like this" and hired crooked attorney to help him get a judge to order her death.

Double $uprise -Crooked judge orders crooked attorney to be paid out of: ($$$ KAAAA-CHING!$$$) Terri's fund that's supposed to be used for her therapy.

$urprise again- Crooked attorney has Terri placed in a ho$pice where he was on the board of directors ($$$$$$$$$KAAAAAAAAAAA-CHING!!!!$$$$$)

Of course, you normally can't qualify for ho$pice care unless you are terminally ill , have 6 mmonths to live. And this isn't even one quarter of all the things about this case that just don't add up. Here's hoping they take the time to get all the facts out.

Seems to me-the problem is- you have a legal system in Florida that is unwilling to face the corruption/criminality in this case - (it is sensational, and alot of heads are going to roll, if all the impropieties are brought out)- so Judge after Judge rules to "protect their own" rather than deal with their own incompetence- the questiopn is- what can be done- when the judges are not willing to look at "their own" in a case like this?

I don't know what the answer is. Please Pray for Terri- she needs your help.

Let me add that Terri's parents have begged the husband to let them take her home. They have told him , he can have ALL the money, whatever he wants- just to let them have Terri. The S.O.B. still wants her dead.... so what does that tell you???

Thanks for that information regarding Felos and Hospice. So where is all of this information going to be publicized? These people have to pay for this injustice!

Today I was watching a fellow drive down the street in his wheelchair, looking every bit like Terri...head cocked to the side because he had trouble lifting it on his own...not able to speak, but scooting along in his motorized wheelchair and stopping at the stop lights, etc, etc, etc.

It made me think of Terri and the outrage was ever more intensified! This simply isn't right! Terri is no different then the many people I have seen who live unfortunate lives complicated by their physical condition, BUT THEY LIVE! One way to add impact here would be to get some of those people to stand up on Terri's behalf! They may not be able to speak, some of them, but they can think! They may not be able to communicate well, but they can feel!

400.6065 **** Background screening.--

.....(6) The administration of each hospice must sign an affidavit annually, under penalty of perjury, stating that all personnel employed or contracted with on or after October 1, 1998, who provide hospice services in a facility, or who enter the home of a patient in their service capacity, have been screened.

(7) Proof of compliance with the screening requirements of chapter 435 shall be accepted in lieu of the requirements of this section if the person has been continuously employed or registered without a breach in service that exceeds 180 days, the proof of compliance is not more than 2 years old, and the person has been screened, at the discretion of the hospice.

(8)(a) It is a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable under s. 775.082 or s. 775.083, for any person willfully, knowingly, or intentionally to:

**** 1. Fail, by false statement, misrepresentation, impersonation, or other fraudulent means, to disclose in any application for voluntary or paid employment a material fact used in making a determination as to such person's qualifications to be employed or contracted with under this section;

And who does Susan Wynn "A$$I$T?" The Hospice's Vice-President of FINANCE$! (see 6th paragraph)

Guess who has had access to every employee's personal information, social security numbers, addresses, dates of birth, on and on? What do they use in the finance department for records? Of course! $uncoast $olutions! Where does Teresa Craig say the breach of confidentiality has been occurring? $uncoast $olutions! It all starts to fit together now. Should you be concerned? Well, do I have to tell you?

And, in one of the stupidest moves seen in hospice legal history, on June 6, 2003 the hospice sued the whistleblower, Fluffy Cazalas, accusing her of doing what the hospice itself admits it did (see Nov 2001 memo from Teresa Craig) regarding the breach of confidentiality of patient records. This is not unexpected since the REAL message the hospice is trying to send is to intimidate those employees who might come forward and challenge the administrators who do not wish to play by the rules. The hospice administrators recognize how vulnerable they are to the TRUTH!

We have seen the hospice's own publicly accessible FTP site where the hospice illegally revealed private confidential information of the hospice's own patients and employees. The hospice took down that site after we complained it was breaching confidentiality through the site. But we have screen shots of what was at that site. In those files, it showed that confidential information is revealed inside the software marketed by the hospice subsidiary to about a hundred hospices all over the country. We have never seen any files or information revealing private confidential information by the plaintiff, Fluffy Cazalas. If the hospice has proof of its libelous allegations against the whistleblower, we ask to see it now. Where is the hospice's evidence? If the hospice had even one bit of evidence, why didn't it attach such evidence as exhibits to its countersuit? Sounds like a lot of hot air coming from the hospice with no substance. They have no defense and they know the hospice itself has violated confidentiality. Shame on the hospice!

And what kind of record does this hospice have? Does it have a record of complying with the law? Correctly billing for services? Telling the truth? Hardly! ****** The federal government officially ruled in August of 1996 that this hospice, run by Labyak, did not play by the rules with regard to Medicare billings back in 1996 and owed 8.9 million dollars to the federal government for improper billings to Medicare (See summary report and full report). Does this hospice play by the rules? Obviously not when it chose to improperly bill Medicare!

And yes, employees reported to us that the hospice administrators had told employees that that "went away" and the problem with Medicare was resolved. Oh really? Well, if the hospice administrators spoke truthfully to their employees, why does a ******* September, 2002 U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services audit report Number 04-95-02111 show Hospice of the Florida Suncoast owing $14,800,000 (yes, that's almost $15 million dollars!) Did it "go away," Mary? Hardly. Has the hospice told the truth about this to its employees and the public? Hardly!

Does this hospice continue its pattern of not playing by the rules? Did it learn a lesson from the federal government over the seven year period of having a fight with the federal government over the hospice's improper billings to Medicare? Obviously not.......

400.611 Interdisciplinary records of care; confidentiality.--

(1) An up-to-date, interdisciplinary record of care being given and patient and family status shall be kept. Records shall contain pertinent past and current medical, nursing, social, and other therapeutic information and such other information that is necessary for the safe and adequate care of the patient. Notations regarding all aspects of care for the patient and family shall be made in the record. When services are terminated, the record shall show the date and reason for termination.

(2) Patient records shall be retained for a period of 5 years after termination of hospice services, unless otherwise provided by law. In the case of a patient who is a minor, the 5-year period shall begin on the date the patient reaches or would have reached the age of majority.

***** (3) Patient records of care are confidential. A hospice may not release a record or any portion thereof, unless:

***** (a) A patient or legal guardian has given express written informed consent;

***** (b) A court of competent jurisdiction has so ordered; or

***** (c) A state or federal agency, acting under its statutory authority, requires submission of aggregate statistical data. Any information obtained from patient records by a state agency pursuant to its statutory authority is confidential and exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1).

I was at the grocery store and a mom was pushing her beautiful baby down the aisle and I realized that if this happens to Terri then, this baby could be next. She was a down syndrome baby. If they get away with this then what is stop them from coming after anyone they feel is not "normal". I am angered by how little is being said by the major media and the fact that if Terri were an animal they would be screaming to have something done. Neither George Felos nor "The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast" have openly disclosed the facts of Terri Schiavo's case to Terri's many advocates - that from February 13, 1997 until at least April 26, 2001, George J. Felos was listed as a member or recent member of the Board of Directors for "The Hospice of The Florida Suncoast" on the non-profit's annual reports.

The Board of Directors of "The Hospice of The Florida Suncoast", cannot state they are caretakers if Felos and the Hospice worked together to hasten Terri Schiavo's death from the moment she was clandestinely removed from her nursing home and brought to the Hospice by Felos.

hey here is what I have been doing....finding Christian radio stations online and emailing them the page about the call-ins for prayers...
Also emailing it to church websites....including the main one for my church.
Called my pastor today and asked him to pray tomorrow at 2pm. Asked him if I could hand out the prayer call-in page at church on Sunday, and he said yes.

Some Christian radio stations take prayer requests and say they will read them in the morning over the radio.
Those I am hitting with everything I have.

Thanks! I have becki's blogspot. It's a good one. I wonder how many police investigators there are in Florida; I wonder how many 'journalists' there are in this country. I wasn't trained for this. I feel the same way. In the past, I would have thought that a Fox "analyst/expert" like Napolitano would have read a little about a topic, before he discussed it.

It's becoming apparent that judges can be a very closed-minded bunch. Some of them don't even bother to see first-hand, about the physical condition of a woman that they plan to starve to death.
