The Inaugural Pro-Life Science & Technology Symposium will take place May 1, 2004 in Dayton, Ohio.

The theme of the Symposium will be "Technology and Hope - Pro-Life Partners," and Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life will deliver the keynote address.

The event is sponsored by the Pro-Life Technology Task Force, an organization of engineers and software developers seeking to expand the use of technology in the pro-life movement.

The Symposium will provide a forum for professional and technical members of the Pro-Life community to share information on topics including abortion, demographics, cloning, information technology, abstinence education impact, population genetics, stem cell research, genetic engineering, euthanasia, statistics, social sciences, pregnancy counseling impact, and use of computer technology.

The Pro-Life Technology Task Force is seeking topics and speakers who would like to contribute to the Symposium. Those who are interested should submit abstracts by November 15, 2003. There will also be a special section for college students to present their research projects.

More information on the Symposium and the Pro-Life Technology Task Force is available at the Symposium's website.

Ever since I heard of this new technology, I've maintained that it is the Stealth Bomber that is going to zoom in under the pro-death crowd's radar and nuke them... once a woman sees what is really in her womb, it ceases to be a "tissue mass" and becomes... a baby. Her baby.
Silent Scream made an impact on those few who saw it.

Thanks for the post. FWIW, your Silent Scream link is hosed. I'm one of the few who saw it, and it changed my mind.

The web site for the symposium is http://www.prolifetechnology.org/

I'm one of the organizers, and I'm very pleased that notice of our Symposium has reached here. I'm kicking myself for not having posted a vanity on it myself. In any case, we're looking for people who have technical papers to present. Please get your abstracts in soon.
