Frustrated liberals have been asking for the last four years what it’s going to take for President Trump’s supporters to abandon him. Because, like, don’t they know he’s about to be impeached!?
New York Times columnist David Brooks attempted to answer the question last week by imagining a conversation with someone he simply referred to as “Flyover Man,” because apparently he didn’t know a single real Trump supporter.
It never seems to occur to liberals that perhaps the real problem isn’t that a lot of people continue supporting the president even though he can be strange, vulgar, and sometimes even stupid. The real problem just might be that even if Trump is a gleeful liar and a petty narcissist, the alternative is so much worse.
It’s supposed to be unthinkable that Trump has even one supporter at all, because aren’t they ashamed to vote for someone that the media have called a white supremacist? And don’t forget, he’s about to be impeached!
But if 40% of the country can stomach all of that, shouldn’t that say something about the choice we’re given?

The Democrat plan is easy to predict.
During the election they (and the so-called “news” media) will tell people that they are voting against Trump.
After the election (if they win) they (and the so-called “news” media) will tell people that they voted for collectivism.
They make it sound like the problem is that the Rats are running bad candidates, which they are. But it's not that Trump is the lesser evil, like they seem to think. Any candidate that could get nominated in today's Rat party would be a degenerate loon with no idea how to do anything but talk down to voters and break important stuff.

Personally I don’t give a shit if he’s a blowhard or if he lies about his wealth or if he calls leftists and other assorted moron’s who don’t like MAGA bad names. I support him not because the other choices are so bad, I support because I love the job he’s doing as President. Greatest. President. Ever. That’s why I support him.
He got two conservative Supreme Court justices installed, hundreds of federal judges, slashed onerous regulations, lowered taxes for all Americans, brought back manufacturing, improved the economy, improved the VA, passed criminal justice reform, strengthened the military, built some border wall sections, lowered unemployment and destroyed ISIS.
David Brooks was right up there will Hillary calling us deplorables... What an intolerant jerk.
I remember when the press didn't hire blacks (for general news), or women (except for 'women's stories'), and now they don't hire conservatives... Don't they ever 'get it'?

Of course David Brooks knows Trump supporters. He just doesn’t know who they are because there is no point in engaging a Nevertrumper with TDS.
It is this simple: people have figured out that Democrats, the Deep State and the media are a million times more corrupt than Trump could ever imagine being.
If I get anything other than a blank stare, it is usually some nonsensical jibberish about why the economy really sucks or has nothing to do with Trump.
Don’t forget the increase in real wages the working classes have seen under President Trump; the first improvement since the 70’s.
