OAKLAND — Sen. Kamala Harris began her Democratic campaign for president Sunday with an attack on President Donald Trump and a promise to unify a country deeply riven along social, cultural and political lines.
Speaking from the steps of Oakland’s City Hall plaza to a crowd that spilled over several downtown blocks, Harris depicted her candidacy as a fight against those “trying to sow hate and division.”
“We are here at this moment in this because we must answer a fundamental question,” Harris said. “Who are we? Who are we as Americans? So let’s answer that question, America. We are better than this.”
Though she never mentioned Trump by name, it was clear to whom she referred, as Harris painted a damning portrayal of the president and his actions.
“When we have leaders who bully and attack a free press and undermine our democratic institutions, that’s not our America,” Harris said. “When white supremacists march and murder in Charlottesville, or murder innocent worshippers in a Pittsburgh synagogue, that’s not our America.”
The speech in Harris’ liberal-leaning hometown came nearly a week after California’s junior senator acknowledged what had long been evident, declaring her presidential candidacy in a symbolic move on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

McCain’s birth certificate, which HE released, says that he was born in Colon Hospital in Panama City Panama. That hospital was located on sovereign Panamanian territory.
I would refer you to Clay Blair’s excellent study of the Korean War, “The Forgotten War”, page 146. I quote LTC Mike Michaelis, who had just been given command of the US Army’s 27th Wolfhound Regiment, and was ordered to immediately deploy from Japan to Korea in July of 1950. “We’d just had our first child-a daughter. The only thing I had time to do was rush to the American Consulate with my wife and get our daughter certified so that SHE WOULDN’T BE A JAPANESE CITIZEN. I put twenty-five dollars, a razor, and tooth brush in my pocket and took off.”
Japan had regained it’s sovereignty at that time, and it’s citizenship laws were in effect. Japanese citizenship law held that ANYONE born on Japanese soil was a Japaneses citizen. However, the US and Japan had concluded Status of Forces Agreements concerning the children born to US military personnel on Japanese soil. US military bases were LEASED from the Japaneses government to the US for use as bases. They were still considered to be Japanese soil. If they were US soil, then the child of a pregnant Japanese worker delivering on a US base would be a 14th amendment citizen. With the SOFA agreement in place at that time, the Japanese citizenship would be waived, and the child would be exclusively a US citizen, (not natural born, but by US immigration and naturalization statutes extant at the time,(in the manner of Ted Cruz)
Both Michaelis AND his wife were natural born US citizens. Despite this, the location of their daughter’s birth makes her not even a 14th amendment citizen, but a statute citizen via the existing US Immigration and Naturalization laws.
I suspect that a similar status existed for McCain. I am still researching it, but I am CERTAIN that McCain was not an Article II natural born citizen either. A CITIZEN, yes, just not an NBC.
when congress passed the McCain resolution (which can’t supersede the constitution) they ere admitting an awareness of this issue,. But in the case of Obama and now Harris they refuse to acknowledge it. Jindal was the only one with honor.

This matter is SCREAMING for a definitive ruling on the meaning of Article II, Section 1, clause 5, by the SCOTUS for the first time in the history of the US. It is revealing to note what Clarence Thomas told a House subcommittee that when it comes to determining whether a person born outside the 50 states can serve as U.S. president when he said that the high court is “evading” the issue. The comments came as part of Thomas’ testimony before a House appropriations panel discussing an increase in the Supreme Court’s budget in April of 2017. Thomas said that to Subcommittee Chairman Rep. Jose Serrano, D-N.Y.

Gabbard has been more ‘moderate’ than any of the other announced Dems. The Far Left Wacko segment of the Dem Party has taken over. And they will ballot harvest in every state to get the win for whoever their candidate is. Ballot harvesting is not legal in AZ, but they did it in Nov 2018 and NOTHING is being done about it.
