The crooks in the media put such a negative spin on everything Trump does.
OK, I’ll get shouted down I’m sure, but I’d love to see this ticket. Cruz brings the DC knowhow that Trump needs, even if he detests (rightfully) the town and its denizens.
Good news. The party needs to come together behind its nominee. The nominee, in turn, needs to do his part and try not say stupid (stuff) for the next four months.
I’m hoping the purpose of this meeting is arranging for Ted Cruz to speak at the GOP convention to give Trump a rousing, whole-hearted endorsement.
I could care less if Cruz does anything else again in his life time...I do know this, if Hillary gets into the White House, there will be no Senate, there will be no Representatives, there will be a dictatorship and that is all there will be and Cruz will not be part of it, she can't stand him anymore than I can stand him....you get my drift...
So wise up people, you want a job, support our nominee, you want to sit in the gutter of what was America, support Clinton because that is what your going to get!!!

Regardless of what many Trump supporters (but not delegates, past or present) believe, a number of states pledge their delegates to vote as their state chose and they may only be free to change their vote after the first ballot..
Those pledged delegates are only free to vote for another candidate on the first ballot, if their state's winning candidate ends their race, not suspends and also delegates are permitted to change their votes if the state winner, after ending their candidacy also pledge their support of another candidate (like Huckabee did, when he ended and pledged his delegates to first McCain then Romney.)
That hasn't happened with Cruz and this is what Trump hopes to achieve with his meeting with Ted Cruz.
Hopefully they can patch things up which helps the cause to defeat Hillary.

I have been saying it since they both got in the race.
Trump: "Do you endorse me? Are you and your delegates ready to stand down?"
Cruz: "No, we are trying to undermine you via the party platform and my delegates and those that lied to be yours will try and unseat you."
Lyn' Ted needs to endorse Trump and ask his few remaining supporters to stand down. Else, drop from the Republican party.
Ya gotta think "Mr. Perfect Cruz" explaining the agreement to Trump......The agreement says support the nominee (which will occur after the vote at the convention)....not the presumptive nominee.

Unbelievable here on FR that anyone defends and supports Lyn’ Ted at this point when it is so incredibly obvious that this really means supporting Clinton. Lyn’ Ted was so thoroughly rejected, he lost, he’s a serial liar, a Natural Born Canadian, and does not stand for what most of us in this group support or represent.
