OK, I’ll get shouted down I’m sure, but I’d love to see this ticket. Cruz brings the DC knowhow that Trump needs, even if he detests (rightfully) the town and its denizens.

I have been hoping and praying for a Trump/Cruz ticket since the beginning. It would be an unstoppable ticket, and would set Cruz up quite nicely for 2024. The primary was indeed ugly, but these are two adult men who have bigger fish to fry than each other. I would love nothing more than to see the two of them put the primary behind them and come together for the good of the Nation. As good as some of the other names that are being kicked around for VP, this would be the best.

NO! We will need every dam senator we can get in there and to take one for the simple reason that he/she might be a popular choice will not help in the least.
Get Trump in there, then in 4 years talk about those who would care to run along side Trump for POTUS.
Right now we have no choice but to rally and save this nation.

Cruz brings nothing to the ticket. Only 25% of republicans wanted him. Independents and moderates really don’t want him. Trump does not need him to win Texas. The establishment hates him. It does nothing to heal the party.
