Hillary Unleashes Foreign Policy Attack on Trump -- And It Backfires Dramatically. Here's Why.

On Thursday, Hillary Clinton gave her first all-out attack on Donald Trumps foreign policy. While the media cheered her on, proclaiming it a brilliant foreign policy exposition, in reality it just exposed her to Trumps counterattacks. This, in a nutshell is the problem with Hillarys campaign: shes so dirty, so incompetent, so unspeakably contemptible that she makes Donald Trump look like a viable presidential candidate.
The theme of her speech was clear: Donald Trump is unqualified to be commander-in-chief. Of course, the same could be said of Hillary Clinton ten times over, but she spent all of her Goldman Sachs money on objects other than a mirror.

I watched some of it, she was like an anamotronic robot
from Disney land. Speak, turn, speak, turn, cue audience
for correct response...etc.
Her description of Trump’s “foreign policy” was taken
from her own resume. She had nothing to crow about,
all she could do was cackle, and smear.
The flag set was SOOOO over done, just surprised she didn’t
pull up her sleeve and show an Uncle Sam tattoo.
Will not Divine Providence end the suffering of the American
people under these lying grifters? Oh, we pray.

Backfire?
How could it backfire?

But there's a phone in the White House...

Trump’s rubber, she’s glue ...
For the first time a ‘rat flings its scat at a Republican, and he says: “Go FY, and here’s why.”
Her Thighness is going to be in the nervous hospital by Labor day.

Where was the ‘dramatic backfire’ about Hillary’s comments?
Is anyone other than the writer expressing this sentiment?

It's very simple: a candidate with a track record dripping with blood, betrayal, and failure has chosen that arena to challenge a candidate with no track record at all and a well-earned reputation for calling it like it is. And somebody on her campaign strategy staff thinks this is a good idea. Pro tip - if your opponent happens to be Mike Tyson, I'd suggest choosing chess and not boxing as the ground of contention.

I wouldn’t doubt it. It may be her only way out of going to prison, claiming she’s mentally incapable of understanding the charges against her.
I have no idea what Bill’s excuse will be other than “All I did was lend my name to the foundation. I had nothing to do with the day to day operations.”
Chelsea’s excuse “I’m not even Bill’s daughter. Don’t blame me!”

I'm not for Hillary, and don't agree with her positions, but as far as a campaign speech goes this was one of her better ones. She was speaking to her base, she didn't cackle, she went after trump. They placed her in a semi-patriotic setting with all the flags. The downside for her was that this was in the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday. Not a lot of people were watching. Why would her staff pick this time for a speech that was going out nationally on television. Timing is important in campaigns. Bad luck also came her way in that Paul Ryan said he would vote for Trump, and the forensic study about Prince's death being an overdose. Her speech has been knocked of the headlines as today's top news stories. If this is the kind of campaign management and luck she is going to have the rest of the time until November she is on a downward spiral to a massive loss.

Shapiro is such a little turd. Trump not only is “viable,” he is going to be the “likely” presidential victor.

I don’t think she WANTED to speech to be in the headlines....it’s just something on the checklist so she can report that she HAS done a foreign policy speech.

Bill
While no track record, his espoused policies clearly define the chasm between NeoCons and PaleoCons.
Trump would make "allies" pay their own way...or go their own way without our protection.
He would not get involved in military adventures except when core, strategic US interests are at stake...and would then make it actual war.
He believes the mercantilism of China is a strategic threat. And he believes we can do business with Russia based on shared interests.
A wall. A Muslim ban.
What's not to like? The American people are responding because THOSE policies are what they want.
