A change in how GOP delegates will be selected in New York's presidential primary could aid party operatives trying to thwart the nomination of Donald Trump in a brokered Republican National Convention this summer in Cleveland.
The New York Republican State Committee approved the rules change last year, marking the first time in decades that GOP presidential candidates won't be allowed to select their own delegates from the Empire State. Instead, the state party will decide.
The new process rewards longtime party loyalists in the state - taking power away from the presidential candidates and their most fervent supporters in the April 19 primary....

“If Trump were accused of being a Christian, do you think a jury of his peers could convict him?”
Would Cruz be convicted?
Just an extra layer of protection to make sure the voters don’t actually get to decide who to vote for. What a corrupt bunch. No wonder they are selling out the country.
Sometimes I wonder if Trump is being protected by God. Trump is being attacked by so many people, I feel so overwhelmed. Its a global attack on one person
Look in the mirror. If the GOPe use Cruz as a stalking horse, they will end up alienating Trump AND Cruz supporters. Some of the alienated supporters will stay home and some may support a third party candidate. With so many alienated supporters the GOP risks losing the Presidency, the House and the Senate.
A nothingburger rule change over a barroom brawl ... just your kind of garbage to roll around in, eh luzer?
I would still vote Cruz if he "won" the nomination, but I doubt that he will be as popular to the Nation-at-Large as he is to his true base of hard core conservatives. We use our own beliefs as the touchstone and expect that the rest of the Nation will go along because it's "the only sensible thing to do" despite the evidence that Cruz only appeals to a relatively small section of voters, leaving the rest in the up in the air/undecided mode which never seems to go our way in the General Election.
“Not HOGWASH....go look up what Teds father believes and tells audiences about his anointed son.”
I don’t care what the FATHER believes. Look at how Trump has LIVED his entire life, and who Trump has supported his entire life.
“On this Easter morning, can you tell me what the Bible has to say about envy and jealousy?”
I don’t know anyone who envies Trump. Do you?
It's mind-boggling the Cruz supporters who still honestly believe that he will be the nominee.
Trump fixed the NY skating rink early and below budget.
Trump invested money in and built beautiful buildings in Manhattan, revitalizing an area that many had given up on.
He's built some of the most prestigious resorts around the world.
Anyone discounting all this is likely suffering from the liberal trait, envy.
Wow
Trump said he tries to change when he does something wrong. That goes way beyond asking for forgiveness. It is how repenting ought to be done. Asking for forgiveness while continuing the action is just playing games with God. It is totally self-serving. But truly repenting by changing one’s actions is serving God.
Look in the mirror, your post says it all. You display both hate and jealousy to Donald Trump.
You said, “18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Donald Trump has produced a LOT of fruit, and it aint looking or smelling good...”
>>> You’re spiteful and envious of how great Trump’s children have turned out and how they demonstrate love and devotion to their father. His charitable works are an even bigger stick in your eye.
You said, “Mao prospered pretty well in this world, and Howard Hughes, and a LOT of other rotten people.”
>>>You’re spiteful and envious of Trump’s success and accumulated wealth. You suffer from class envy. In desperation you make two absurd analogies that sound straight out of a BLM or DU playbook.
Very sad failure.

Look in the mirror, Mister, your earlier post says it all. You display both hate and jealousy to Donald Trump.

Not hardly. I pointed out he has lived an evil life, boasting of evil. I’ve not suggested I wanted to live like him, and I truly have NO desire to live his life.
“His charitable works are an even bigger stick in your eye.”
Not hardly, again. His charitable works are pretty minimal. Look it up. He is more generous to politicians than to the poor.
“But his campaign has provided little documentation for most of these contributions, and tax filings of the Donald J. Trump foundation show Trump has made no charitable contributions to his own namesake nonprofit since 2008.
Without an endowment, the fund has continued to give grants only as a result of contributions from others...
...Trump’s foundation began in 1987 and exists to donate money to other charities.
It has no staff, and its annual IRS filings have regularly listed Trump’s average time spent on it as “minimal” or zero hours a week. The foundation has given out $3.6 million between 2011 and 2013, the most recent year in which its finances are available.
The overwhelming majority of its recent gifts have been made with other people’s money.
NBC Universal, World Wrestling Entertainment and high-end, sporting and entertainment event ticket-reseller Richard Ebers are among the largest donors; Trump made his last significant donation, of $30,000, in 2008.”
Take a good look at this:
“Trump made his last significant donation, of $30,000, in 2008.”
They don’t care. The Republicrats are one party.
From the activities of their supporters, both Kasich and Cruz.
