You can use this as an open thread if you like — the debate starts at 6 p.m. ET on CNBC — but the thought of Jindal, Graham, Santorum, and smilin’ George Pataki jawing at each other for another 75 minutes feels less like political entertainment than an especially talky episode of “The Walking Dead.” This has to be the last undercard debate. Right?
While we wait, here’s an aperitif for Trump fans: The latest national poll from YouGov has him north of 30 percent, comfortably ahead of Ben Carson....

Just look at the number of Democrats and Independents for Trump. I am serious, Trump has that universal broad appeal than all the other Republican candidates lack. You can argue all you want whether he is conservative enough, but he is the one Republican candidate who can win in the General Election.
I should do the same but I still surf the dial. I think that Kelly ratings are more about the 9:00 hour than her. I see Hanitty ratings down only because a combination of the hour and the fact that he is no longer live...with exception of special occasion
I dont take a show quite as seriously when it is not live
I suspect if Bill O (who I rarely watch) though I love Waters World...Bill O is ok only, his ratings would go down if moved to 10 PM
I haven’t see Ben Carson draw crowds like Trump. I am not buying the facebook likes and polling numbers. These pollsters are trying to sway opinion. They are still trying to pick our candidate to lose to Hillary.
Agreed on all counts.
Oh and I love Waters world and wish he had his own half hour.
After tonight’s performance look for Carson to sink.
