Making political predictions rarely turns out well, but heres one: Donald Trump will not be a candidate for president in 2016.
What? Yes, I know, hes already announced. In my view, though, he wont take this all the way to the ballot in Iowa, New Hampshire, or any of the Republican caucus or primary elections.
Why? Because hes Donald Trump and everything we know about him tells us he wont do it.
Lets step back from the Trump frenzy and consider the realities of a possible Trump run. First is the essential question: Will Donald Trump be the next president of the United States? No. Be it in the throes of a dot-com boom or tulip mania, there are always those who argue, This time its different. But it never is. All that we know about politics has not evaporated because Donald Trump says hed like to be president.

...Democrats have opened our borders to all manner of horrific Third World violence, crime, and disease. The GOP has supported and endorsed this vile activity every single step of the way. Trump has tapped into the fury of the American people over the unrelenting anti-American NWO push of our paid employees in government. Trump could win this on this one issue alone. Americans are tired of being betrayed by their government on both sides of the aisle....
haha and the funniest one is Trump can’t be relied on to run for 2nd term!
There might be a few people new to FR that might not be in the know! ;)
Wrong—wishing it will happen will not make it so. Trump will be the next president of the USA and I predict he will do a great job and his face will be carved on mountains. He will lead us in America’s darkest hours. I could be wrong, but Trump is in it to win it.
The first mentioning that I’ve read. An updated version of the Bracero program.
Very good article...thanks for the link!
Yes, the illegals issue is indeed driving the Trump train.
It is astonishing that none of the other 16 candidates dared to utter the word “DEPORT”. Trump was the first.
The ‘RATs are pimping a crook for president and they are all wringing their hands over the GOP. LOL! Dorks.
None of this matters to Trump supporters. They subsist in a world where facts, reason and logic are offensive. They have been hurt by the political process. (as most of us have been) Because of that hurt, they project all their hopes onto him. They imagine him as a movement conservative, even though their is nothing to suggest that. So any dose of reality will be taken with great offense by Trump supporters. To them, you are not criticizing a candidate, you are crushing their dream, their projection of a fantasy candidate.
LOL. You are right, those pundits are crazy. That sniveling little wimp, as a cowboy?
Another Trump drinking game comment/article....oy vey.....
I feel your pain, bro. Do you sleep well these days knowing Trump train keeps going ahead full speed in spite of your resistance? Maalox might help. How about Xanax?
Well...look at it this way. The daily beast can’t publish blank pages. So they fill it up with attention catching headline articles even if it just hot air.
You’re right. Anything can, and often does, happen. However, losing to Bush sounds possible only if a major portion of the Republican primary voters take massive doses of Prozac with a side of Valium. ;-)
If only wishful thinking could become actual results.
I could have considered this seriously if the article was about some nutcase off his medication shooting him.
Media & RNC all on-board with the propaganda approach. Notice all recent articles and talking points are predicting Trump will never be the nominee. They’ve had success in the past with the inevitability.
Bandwagon-and-inevitable-victory appeals attempt to persuade the target audience to take a course of action “everyone else is taking.” “Join the crowd.” This technique reinforces people’s natural desire to be on the winning side. This technique is used to convince the audience that a program is an expression of an irresistible mass movement and that it is in their interest to join. “Inevitable victory” invites those not already on the bandwagon to join those already on the road to certain victory. Those already, or partially, on the bandwagon are reassured that staying aboard is the best course of action.
It is the technique perfected by Joseph Goebbels.
They will pass some silly rule saying unless you promise not to run 3rd party you can neither run as a republican nor have your name be placed into nomination.
