Donald J. Trumps suggestion that a Fox News journalist had forcefully questioned him at the Republican presidential debate because she was menstruating cost him a speaking slot Saturday night at an influential gathering of conservatives in Atlanta. It also raised new questions about how much longer Republican Party leaders would have to contend with Mr. Trumps disruptive presence in the primary field.
With Mr. Trump at center stage, the event Thursday shattered television viewership records for primary debates: Nearly 24 million people watched. But any hopes that he would try to reinvent himself inside the Cleveland arena as a sober-minded statesman, or that he would collapse under scrutiny and tough questions, vaporized in the opening minutes.
By the weekend, as Mr. Trumps latest eruption rippled through Republican circles, the conversation had turned to whether the party, and his rival presidential contenders, should continue to accommodate his candidacy, quietly hoping that this would be the moment he burned out or should try to run him out on a rail...

Megyn Kelly did her job. She officially launched the War On Women 2. That’s all we’re going to hear.
Well, she was a McCain advisor, so what should we expect?
The Ministry Of Propaganda has orders to get Trump out of the race.
Fox News is part of the Ministry Of Propaganda.
Kelly tried to sandbag Trump.
Trump has to be silenced because people are starting to think he’s right and we can stop the inundation across our southern border.
Every headline on tv has used the Rosie quote, then elaborated on it.
The US media is a scary out of control situation now..
It's a shame we don't have the Brits laws which keep the left in check and also the Rupert Murdochs from bold face lying and baseless smearing.
I never liked Megyn Kelly’s show, right from the start. She comes off like some sanctimonious bitch. At the debate she ended up making Candy Crowley look like a class act.
Chris Wallace was the other woman on the panel that should be let go.
He’s not like the others:
Donald Trump is an embarrassment who is impossible to embarrass. It’s his superpower.

Am I in the minority in this forsaken country of ours, to think that Trump was not referring to her menses? Whenever, to me means everywhere. In short, she was out for blood.
“Two terms. That’s how long they will have to deal with Trump’s disruptive presence.”
I hate to break it to you, guy, but Mr. Trump has a virtually zero chance of being elected President. Ain’t gonna happen.
I don’t see that superpower getting him to 270 EVs, if he somehow pluralities his way to the nomination.
Could be. However, we will never know as candor is not a political virtue.
Jeffrey Lord on CNN now talking about this.
Please don't use that slur to describe conservatives. It's a recent invention of liberal commenters around the web.
My gut tells me no. If Trump runs as a third party candidate Hillary definitely wins. If Trump runs as the Republican nominee, Hillary probably wins as well. Driving him out of the party doesn't seem to be worth the effort.
He’s got 32% support in the GOP now.
The support from conservative candidates is going to choose Trump over the GOPe candidates. So Cruz, Huckabee, Fiorina, probably Carson’s support is going to go Trump.
And while Walker, Bush, Christie and Rubio’s support will eventually convalesce around 1 candidate, some of those are going to be dissatisfied and switch to Trump.
The media and career politicians live on lies and cheap shots and con games. Now they act all prissy and self-righteous because someone suggests a crabby woman might be crabby because it is that time of the month for her? Oh the horror. Gee, no one has ever said that before. /s
It would be interesting to see a Hillary-Trump debate.
NYT = Fish wrap
Jeffrey Lord was just on CNN now: “All these people treating Megyn Kelly like a delicate flower IS CONDESCENDING! He did not say it was about menstruation. We cannot depend upon someone elses INTERPRETATION and this is just the way Trump talks.” Jeffrey Lord said he is really disappointed in Jeb Bush piling on and that those who are making a big deal defending M. Kelley RE BEING SEXIST!!!!!!!
