A plurality of Americans now say they are better off than they were when President Barack Obama was inaugurated, providing a surprising lift to Obama's re- election campaign despite troublesome economic news.
Forty-five percent of those surveyed in a Bloomberg National Poll say they are better off than at the beginning of 2009 compared with 36 percent who say they are worse off. In March, poll respondents split almost evenly on that question after having been decidedly negative since the aftermath of the worst recession in seven decades.
"I'm just tired of the doom and gloom," says Jim Seeley, 52, a mortgage banker in Traverse City, Michigan, and a poll respondent, in a follow-up interview. "I think it's looking better. People just need to stay positive."(continued)

I swear to god. If I had $5 for every time I heard that “they can’t lie” bit I’d be well off. People are sheep with no desire to question anything they are told..
Chuckle! Same here.
What a freakin' joke.

Well, I’m talking above my pay grade here, and I don’t understand perfectly how or why certain polls are manipulated.
But food stamp recipients in the U.S. are up over 46 million now, a 14 million+ increase since Obama took over, and unemployment claims are also up, and “workers” ceasing to work and filing for disability claims are also way up...
My answer to you would be that people of certain races and backgrounds are more likely to respond favorably to a pollster even if their unemployment circumstances have gotten worse, just because they love their dear leader; and given our exploding welfare system, poor unemployment circumstances may not necessarily mean a poorer living standard.
Shoot, I’m usually confused, disgusted and enraged...it’s a good day if I can describe myself as merely confused...lol..
I weep for our country.

It’s June 20 and Obama’s propaganda summer has begun. My forecast is that it will be deep and delusional right through Labor Day.

Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
This poll doesn’t surprise me at all. Most stock market indices have roughly doubled since early 2009. I don’t credit Obama for any of that, but a lot of people (including me) are much better off financially now than in early 2009.
This is the third EPIC FAIL Bloomberg poll in a matter of days. Bloomberg must be on serious drugs, along with his so-called “pollster.”
I am staying positive. I know things WILL get better. But, the now is not good. At the moment, my family cringes at the thought of going too far out of the neighborhood, because of fuel. We used to be able to drop $200 a pop for food. Now, we try to stretch a $100, if possible.
So, I hope these people who say we have it better with Obama around explains that to those without jobs and all the long time businesses that have gone under.
San Francisco Chronicle?
The faggots are certainly doing better since Obama was elected.
Did they survey the lady who said that Obama would pay her mortgage and buy gas for her car? I want to know if she is better off today than 3 years ago.
Rice, cheap white bread, peanut butter, macaroni & cheese, .89 hot dogs and generic soup. That’s our diet nowadays.
nothingnew, I saw the deterioration of public education firsthand. I retired from teaching after 31 years in 1999 and it had gradually changed over that period of time. From what my former students who are now teachers/school administrators tell me, it has changed drastically since I retired. Thankfully we still have a lot of sane teachers who didn’t drink the kool-aid in our local system.
Actually they are referring to CENTRAL and SOUTH AMERICANS.
Like J. Leno opined last week:
“The only ones better off than they were 4 years ago are the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay”.
Better off Dead!
Say it long enough and loud enough and some people will believe it! Its MSM moves to re-elect Obama that all.
