I've been hearing that some groups of people are not welcome at Free Republic anymore, but I didn't believe what I was hearing because that seems like the complete opposite of "Free". I've heard that supporters of Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, and more are no longer welcome to post at this site.
This site is about uniting people together against the liberal onslaught that is ruining our country and we could use all the help we can get right?
Please correct me so I can correct others who have told me that this is the case. A new slogan is making it's rounds that 'the Free Republic has become anything but.'

I was wondering where I go to find out a posters history and when they signed up for FR etc.? I’m not sure how long I have been a member but to this day I have NEVER learned how to post a new article for discussion.
These n00b trolls are hilarious. Trying so hard to sound earnest and sincere, but coming across as just what they are.
Gay midget sex workers are no longer welcome.
It will therefor be difficult for you to find like-minded folks here.
I like Paul’s fiscal/domestic leanings, for the most part. It’s his forign policy on which I disagree.
What I find truly discouraging is that even wiith the Rupblican control of both the Execuitive and Legislative branches there was not a push to illegalize abortion; the Mexico City stance was good for being something that could be dine soly on the Presidentt’s initiave.
Then there was the TRUELY discouraging lost oppertunity of post-9/11 wherein the administration basically endorsed a “do nothing”/”get back to your normal life” stance which the people took maybe a bit too much to heart; it would have been better, IMO, to blow off the dust regarding militias and have taken the overflow from the surge of recuits/volenteers from the surge in enlistments there... especially when the help of retired or recovering veterans could have been used in reconstructing the [states’]militias. (It is, in my experience, a good thing to have something to do.)
{Also, I realize that many states recognize their national guard as their _ORGANIZED_ milita.}
This is the best you can come up with.PLEASE
I didn’t vote for McCain, I voted 3rd party, and I do not like any of the people you listed. I just asked a question...why are so many people being hostile towards me?
I can’t stand Moveon.org and I actually was part of a team of people that tried to make a cite called moveover.org to counter them but it never really got going.
sniff
I looked that up right away, too. Liberals are really creepy people.
I met Rudy at Yankee stadium years ago. He was a great mayor and I supported him last year but his campaign never got off the ground. I couldnt really fight for him since he didnt really fought for himself.
Gee, you could have fooled me. I see people posting for and against all the people in your list.
True, they can be entertaining. Like puppies or kittens.
I predict that your stay here will be brief.
The people that are not welcome here are those that work against the stated mission of the site, and has nothing to do with who they support.
There are plenty of Mitt, Mac, and Paul supporters here that haven’t been banned. Get the facts before you hit ‘post.’
back to du scum bag
They become unhinged and generally mess up the threads making people miserable.
That gets people the boot.
Then there is the obvious troll from du or kos the type who thinks putting a turd in the punch bowl is funny.
